Hot spring Hotels in Suzhou

We rented a suite that had the tub on the deck. The room was very spacious and modern. I really enjoyed the tub, and the view was amazing. The room was one of the nices hotel rooms I have stayed in China. The food in the restaurant was not great. We ordered a burger that was not hamburger. I am not sure what it was, but it was strange (It was hard meat that tasted like rubber). We thought the club sandwich was also less than appealing and the pizza was undercooked. The french fries and spring rolls were good. The dinner buffet was pretty decimated by the time we got to it. The only saving grace was having a hot pot on the table, which was really good. The hot spring resort is next door and really great. It costs around 200 RMB per person to go there and they provide a robe, slippers and lockers. The hotel is off the beaten path with nothing around, but I did not mind this. It is very peaceful with good views. Our son enjoyed the hotel and what it offered. I would stay there again for a weekend get away, but probably go somewhere else for food. That is difficult given the location.

There were a few ants in the first room we booked, but after a few screams and a phonecall we were quickly moved to another ant-free room. The staff were so helpful, kind and willing to communicate in English to the best of their ability. They made plenty of gestures with bowls of fruit, fragrant sacks and even a personal delivery of the food menu when we couldn't find the English menu on the TV. Their frequent arrivals had us jumping in our robes to grab the door every so often, but each time we were grateful to receive such thoughtful snacks and smells. Lovely place. Would visit again.

I was attracted by Xiaohongshu and booked a homestay on Xishan Hengshan Island for the National Day holiday on Ctrip 2 months in advance. After placing the order, the owner of the homestay took the initiative to create a WeChat group, sent the self-driving parking location, and introduced the nearby dining and travel guide in detail. On the day of arrival, the owner personally came to the parking lot to pick me up, which was very considerate. The room of the homestay faces Taihu Lake, and the first-line lake view can enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The environment is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. The lake and mountains are vast and the breeze is so comfortable. The oval swimming pool is seamlessly connected to Taihu Lake. The transparent glass boat is very good. The hot spring pool is also very comfortable, and the island vacation feeling is full. When night falls, the homestay is gently illuminated by lights, like a fairyland. The room is equipped with a 100-inch projection, electric curtains, bathtub, L'Occitane washing and care, Dyson hair dryer, drinks and fruits, breakfast has Western food and soup noodles, and white porridge is cooked according to our requirements. The dinner set meal of Taihu Three Whites + Water Shield and Shredded Pork Soup added temporarily during the holiday is fresh and delicious. Every detail reflects the care of the homestay owner. On the last day, the lady boss asked us about our next stop and reminded us of the restrictions on driving outside the scenic spot, so we changed our itinerary in time and checked in at the popular cafe that we had been eyeing for a long time. This trip to Xishan ended perfectly. I look forward to the opportunity to visit Kanas B&B again in the winter when there are red-billed gulls.

Modern hotel in excellent condition. Offers chairs and tents for outdoor use but very limited supply available. High quality offerings of Chinese and international foods. Spacious rooms with good views.

The lake views are stunning and the hotel swimming pool is better than most - the fact that the whole 25m depth is child friendly is a big plus for a family visit. The staff on the club floor where we stayed were kind and considerate and made our son feel welcome and I'd definitely recommend the club option if you're a family. The location is peaceful and there are lots of child-friendly open spaces nearby. On the other hand, the breakfast in the All Day Dining was disappointing as they seemed to run out of food by about 8:15. The days we were there earlier it was a good selection. If you are going as a family and are not a Chinese speaker, I'd recommend doing your homework in advance. There is lots to do nearby, but the hotel doesn't have that information available for guests.

Very good place to go to hot springs! We enjoyed the hot springs a lot in the winter holiday. They gave us an upgrade to a beautiful room with an amazing (and huge) bathroom. Checkin desk is friendly and helpful and speaks English. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet has Chinese food as well as some Western choices like croissants, bacon, coffee, toast, and other normal breakfast foods like yogurt, fruit, etc. They started putting food away at 9:50 though, so don’t wait until last minute to go grab some breakfast. There’s not a lot close to it though, and restaurant in hotel is friendly and obliging, but expensive. Good place to stay!

The hotel is in a good location, very convenient to Baima Stream and Dayangshan Botanical Garden. I like the restaurant very much. The soy milk and tofu pudding for breakfast is ground by myself, which is very unique. I would like to praise that the breakfast variety is also good. But the hotel is a bit old. However, I am writing a review today to complain about the hotel's facilities. I don't know if the room assigned to me was bad or if the soundproofing itself was poor. Can you understand the squeaking sound of someone dragging something heavy at ten o'clock in the evening? It’s really better to skip it for people who have poor sleep quality. Can you understand the sudden thought of a huge fan roaring at four o'clock in the middle of the night? In short, I couldn't sleep well, I had a headache, and my experience was immediately deducted. Also, we found out that the basin drain was clogged the night we checked in, and we even asked the master to repair it. It was also difficult to get through to the front desk phone, which made me feel deeply helpless. . . . . . . . . . . . . I gave feedback to the hotel but there was no effective response.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a peaceful experience with wonderful surroundings and great service. Also if you have pets, you may want to bring your dog along to share in your experience the beautiful views as an added bonus. I was informed that they have pet food and additional compliments to cater for your dog! Wonderful! One my first day, I was warmly greeted by 小雨 who speaks English very well. She answered all my questions and made the trip super smooth and comfortable. She is a wonderful asset to the hotel! Special thanks for her and her professional and friendly service. Breakfast is a buffet with an extensive selection to cater for western and eastern tastes. The Hot springs were a much needed relaxing part of the trip and it was included in the price of the room where you can visit once per day. The rooms are very clean with the aroma of essential oils. The insulation was great so you never hear the sound of your neighbours once the doors are closed. My room had a balcony with seats which you could use the space to hang out, read & do yoga if you choose! Overall- no faults! Just perfect with a friendly team from the front desk, the gardeners, the chefs- everyone made it a memorable experience.

The hotel is not bad, the room was clean and pleasant to stay. The bed was quite comfortable. The area around is green, you can have a walk or enjoy a warm bath in the hot springs, but there were many people and music played loudly, kids run with water guns, so it’s not really nice for relaxation. One thing that really spoiled my weekend, there were the construction works near to my room window (on the parking behind the trees) that were started at 4:30am on Sunday!!! Of course it didn’t let me to sleep well and enjoy my stay there as I felt broken for the rest of the day without good sleeping.

I booked it for three days in a row. On the first day I checked in, it was raining.
