Environment: Opposite the Suxi Museum, it is very easy to find, the transportation is convenient, next to the Golden Eagle, life is convenient.
Facilities: Smart toilets are still quite like. The room environment is clean and tidy, and the air conditioning is great.
Service: A bathtub for the bathroom in the two-bedroom apartment is inconvenient for the elderly. Upgraded the apartment and can take a shower. thank you very much.
Kitchen utensils and washing machines are all available. Suitable for family travel and short-term living

With Suzhou Railway Station just 10km away and Sunan Shuofang International Airport only 39km away, transportation is very convenient. The closest major public transportation, Luoxingqiao Metro Station, is only 700m away. This hotel is located near many of Suzhou's attractions including Suzhou Museum West Hall, Xiyuan Temple and Lingering Garden. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel.

If you want to save money, I recommend this hotel. Its located in SND, it's very clean super clean. There's wifi available and its next to a bus stop if you wnat to save more money and not spend much on didi or private taxis. Its alos beat line 5 subway station. If you dont wnat fancy hotels and wnat to dave your money and you dint care about the view you will see from your hotel widow I recommend this hotel. I used this hotel when I went to suzhou to transfer to a new school. If you big on saving costs go to this hotel and its foreigner friendly. They know how to acckmade foreigners. I have nothing bad to say thank you

Overall, the room is clean and tidy, the environment is good, and the scenery outside the window is beautiful. It is the first choice for business trips and will come again next time. The only problem is that the invoice is inconvenient. It is not connected to Ctrip and needs to be issued by the hotel.

The reception manager Ms. Connie was super service oriented. She arranged the extra bed for my child and got us a nice quiet room. When I asked for other assistance, she went the extra mile to fix it. Her colleague on the same shift was very helpful too ( did not get her name though). Big thank you to Connie and her colleagues. Now I can see why there are so many long staying guests in this hotel despite its age, the hotel staffs provide the edge over other service apartments in Suzhou New District.

Great location for me 15- 20 mins from the railway station and close to the industrial area.
Room are spacious , great shower, good breakfast . Staff super nice and helpful.
Housekeeping is really busy guess a bit understaffed at the moment
For amenities unfortunately gym was under renovation and I booked it for this .. was a little disappointed but would deffo stay here again . Hope it’s finished next time
Can order outside food delivery for dinner or there’s a Starbucks and a noodle place around the back of the adjoining building to the hotel .

First floor - people can see you if your curtains are open. They said the room is non-smoking but you can tell people have smoked in there . There’s an ashtray in the room next to the non-smoking sign . The irony . I read a review about bugs being in the room. I was hoping that was not going to happen to me . I was wrong . Saw a spider on the floor and a mosquito on the mirror . They left the window open before my arrival so it’s possible many bugs can enter. The bed is good . Water pressure from shower is excellent.

recommend! ! The street next door is a snack street (super close), which is very convenient for eating and has a lot of delicious food. The wooden furniture, ancient decorative paintings and traditional decorative style make people feel like they have traveled back to ancient times. Here, you can feel the strong historical atmosphere and experience the ancient way of life. In addition, the service of the B&B is also very thoughtful, and the staff are very warm and friendly, making people feel at home. GGuest UserThe new hotel is close to Vientiane Plaza, just across the road. The parking is very convenient. There is a ground and a basement. The sanitation of the guest rooms is very good. The service attitude at the front desk is also very good, and they will deal with the needs of the guests in a timely manner. Jjimmyliu2I have been to Tongli Lake Resort for two consecutive years during the National Day holiday. This time it was a family trip with 5 families. This time I stayed in the second phase garden view twin room. The second phase was built later and the decoration was a little newer than the first phase villa room. The hotel has complete tourist facilities and can basically meet the needs of children. The ticket to the ancient town is free after 5 pm! It took a long time to get the room during the National Day. It would be better if it could be optimized!
Free shuttle bus from the hotel to Tongli Ancient Town: The shuttle bus is convenient and it takes 5 minutes to get to the north gate of the ancient town
Experience Hanfu or horse-faced skirt: convenient rental and humanized timekeeping

LljjjRoom: The room is quite okay, not too small but not too big. We can open two 24-inch suitcases in the room.
Air Conditioning: The air conditioning is a standard unit (not central), and you can use the remote to set the temperature according to your preferences. You can adjust it to be very cold or less cold.
Amenities: Every day, they refill two bottles of mineral water for us. They also provide new slippers, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and shampoo daily. Towels can also be changed every day. There are about 4-5 sockets in the room. Remember to bring a universal adapter, as the sockets are not designed for international use, although there is a USB port that can be used directly.
Shower: The water pressure is not very strong but still acceptable.
Breakfast: The hotel only has a pantry area with 1 table and limited chairs (similar to pantry) and no restaurant.
Transport: The hotel is near the Humble Administrator's Garden (5 minutes walking distance), Lion Forest Garden (3 minutes walking distance), and Suzhou Museum (5 minutes walking distance). The Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum are located side by side. If you don’t mind walking, you can also reach Pingjiang Road (15-20 minutes walking distance) and Guanqian Street (15-20 minutes walking distance). For other attractions, you might need to call Didi.
Location: There is a Family Mart located in the same row as the hotel, making it easy to buy snacks. My travel dates are May 21, 2024 - May 23, 2024. There is some construction nearby (it seems to be a new metro construction). It’s not noisy but a bit dusty. When walking to Pingjiang Road and Guanqian Street, you need to walk near the main road and construction site. It can be slightly dangerous, but many people are using the same route.
Laundry: They offer a free laundry service. You can use the washing machine and dryer for free. However, there are only two washing machines and two dryers. Many people use them at night, so you might need to wait when others are using them.
Overall, it is good for a short stay and budget travelers.

It is worth praising. The style is quite unique. The serviced apar**ent is modern and simple. The security is very high. You need to swipe your card. 24-hour security. The location is excellent. There are shopping malls behind the Jinji Lake Scenic Area. The transportation is very convenient. The hygiene is also very clean. The bed is very comfortable. I will bring my family to play and stay here next time.

GGuest UserThere were a few ants in the first room we booked, but after a few screams and a phonecall we were quickly moved to another ant-free room. The staff were so helpful, kind and willing to communicate in English to the best of their ability. They made plenty of gestures with bowls of fruit, fragrant sacks and even a personal delivery of the food menu when we couldn't find the English menu on the TV. Their frequent arrivals had us jumping in our robes to grab the door every so often, but each time we were grateful to receive such thoughtful snacks and smells. Lovely place. Would visit again.

Qqueen_kooIf you’re looking for a perfect 4 star venue in the city centre then look no further! This place is a good bargain all round the year and even in peak seasons. I am going to split my review into sections so bare with me.
1) Rooms: The outdated the rooms need a serious paint jobs and the couch is quite “scratchy” material wise. Despite the interior eye sore, the flats are quite cosy with everything you need. Scenery wise , those who aren’t afraid of heights request the balcony rooms ! Maybe they don’t have the views of the shanghai centre shopping mall but the evening breeze did put me to sleep like a baby! Also the television was well packed with nostalgic movies , I really enjoyed the entertainment. Although the TV volume doesn’t go too loud , I guess it’s good respect to the neighbors some of who are long term tenants.
2) Service: Impeccable. The people here, although clearly overworked are so nice! The housekeepers are all so wonderful ! They were the ones who let me come back to a clean flat everyday , really it was a piece of home with a whole lot of help! For shampoos and conditioners and shower gel you would need to let the front desk know you need it, so please keep that in mind!
3) Breakfast: Just enough for survival , I’m quite particular about my tastes in food where the buffet options were too less and unfortunately not too tasty. But I was able to survive…I really hope they can fix this though cause the place although cheaper than others isn’t exactly cheap as well. If you want a good breakfast spread , you will be left heavily disappointed.
There’s a lot of cost cutting the hotel group has done and it’s obvious…I hope Ascott takes this into consideration cause it’s not good to have better hotels around the world but keep smaller cities forgotten and tightly budgeted!!
Suzhou is quite expensive than other cities due to the constant influx of tourists.
I don’t usually write much for my reviews but In this case I seem to care after seeing the overworked hotel staff and the poor conditions around them.
Come on Ascott do better. I initially was tempted to give a 3/5 review stars but it’s the people that pushed it up.

GGuest UserReally beautiful place. It looks to be brand new - maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but it certainly looks new. The room (a suite) was very spacious, very clean. Just a very beautiful place that fit well with the surroundings. The whole building was impeccably clean.
I rated the service 5/5 because the owners were very nice, and largely left us alone. The family was processing tea and were quite busy - check-in was extremely quick, check-out too. I'm not looking for hospitality, so being left alone suited us fine - this isn't a criticism at all! The rooms don't really come with much extra (tea, coffee etc.), just a couple of bottles of water, so best to know that before you book if you usually expect this, but we didn't so we were fine with it.
You can buy really good tea from them (maybe we timed it well as we arrived at the peak tea-picking time). The owners were very kind and let us try some, and it's really good tea - we ended up buying some.
Food was pretty good, but again they were quite busy and have specific times that food is available, and no menu, so best to check ahead with them (again, really taking into account that they were super busy processing tea when we were there). Absolutely not a problem as there are so many great restaurants around too.
TV in the room had VOD but without VIP, so if you're looking to watch movies or anything best to bring your own (including HDMI cable as our TV didn't have one).

Space for maybe 4 cars to park, right next to a small hill, very close to the pick-up point for the sightseeing bus to take you up to Xishan, and surrounded by lots of restaurants, B+Bs etc. so if you like coffee, there's a shop just down the road. Very beautiful surroundings - you will be shocked that you're so close to Suzhou as there's absolutely no evidence that you're anywhere near a city!
All in all, really enjoyable. Amazing price for a suite (around Y500 per night) and one of the better homestay-style places we've stayed in. Highly recommended.
