Hotel Sutter

Our heater wasn't working at first when we got to our room, went down stairs and let the front desk know about the problem and she came right up to look at it but couldn't get it to turn on. She asked if we would like to change rooms but we decided to stay. She told me to try it a few minutes later, it took a few hours but it started to work. The staff it was very attentive.

New Year’s Eve getaway, room clean, quaint. Employees friendly food delicious. This was a solo getaway weekend. Nice bar.

The place is historic. I had a blast hosting with my sisters mom and brother in law . I would definitely come back

This is a nice historic hotel in the heart of Sutter Creek. Also has a good restaurant and bar downstairs. Rooms clean and modernized with a comfortable bed.

Excellent hotel! Quick online check-in. Very safe and secure. Fantastic atmosphere with the bar and restaurant integral with the main floor. The room was clean, spacious and the furnishings were period. We had a King bed and it was comfy! We had a view of the main street so we could see the town’s Christmas lights. The rate was reasonable and we are happy to support small town business. Checkout consisted of dropping off the room keys in a box at the front counter and walking to the car. We received a checkout email with a copy of the receipt within a few hours. We’ll definitely come back here.

Negative: I’m giving this property a three star rating for two reasons. The bed felt old and it had no back support. We had a very uncomfortable sleepless night. Morning, coffee, and muffins were distasteful. Positive : The location is spot on and the staff were friendly and professional.

Warm cozy comfortable bed and adequate bathroom facilities. Quiet when ready to sleep even though room above the bar area. Dinner was delicious.

Location was fantastic, right in the heart of town. The rooms were clean. The restaurant downstairs had amazing prime rib, desserts and service. We stayed for Christmas festivities in town and will definitely return.
