Staff are very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was quick and seamless. Room was spotless. One of the cleanest hotels I've ever been in and extra touches such as waters in the mini Fridge and communal kitchen with juices and cereal go a long way to making this pub accommodation, a boutique Sydney stay. The hot water needs some serious work which no doubt was in the works

The property is half way between Newtown & Oxford St, perfect for an easy uber to nightlife. It is near 100 resturants, like Turkish Pizza (loved Erysies!) or polish (great food, but i forgot the name). The hotel offers a heap of brekfast stuff at no charge, so that was awesome. The bathroom looked recently renovated, too.
I thought it was going to be noisy on Cleaveland st, but it wasn't (the double windows work well).
We even found a park out the front - Crown st loading zone - 15min 6 am to 6p.m., 4 hour to 10 p.m. free to 6 a.m.
I can recomend this place if you want something unpretentious and affordable in the heart of the city.

Terrific room cleaned daily, and fresh linen supplied daily also. Comfortable bed and pillows. Downstairs restaurant and bar are convenient, food is delicious, and staff are all friendly and helpful. To top it off no noise was heard in our room from restaurant or bar.
