Novotel Surfers Paradise

It's beautiful and in a great location. I wish there were more amenities like toothbrushes, but the hotel was really clean and I was satisfied. I recommend it ଘ(੭´ ꒫`)੭̸*

The room is nice, with a view of the sea. Overall satisfied. . There are four of us, and we booked this room type, with a total of 3 beds, a 1.8-meter large bed in one room, and two 0.9-meter beds in an area near the entrance. Although there are two areas, there is no door, so the privacy is a bit poor.

I chose this hotel because it is the closest to the Cavil tram station! After checking out, I had to take the Gold Coast tram to the train to Brisbane, and I was worried that it would be inconvenient to walk with a 30-inch suitcase. Other than that, I was really disappointed with Novotel. The room was very old. The carpet didn't look clean. The room smelled bad. The bath towels and towels were not for two people. There was only one bottle of water in the minibar. We were two people, so at least two bottles were given? And the elevator was very, very, very slow, and it broke on the day of check-out. The whole experience was not good... And I saw other reviews saying it was very noisy, and I thought it was understandable at first, because it was normal to be a little noisy in Surfers Paradise. As a result, when we checked in, the next day was an Australian public holiday, and the party cheers on the street continued until the middle of the night. I didn't sleep well all night... The service was okay. I found that there was no water on the night of check-in, so I called the front desk. A waitress at the front desk told me that the room service had gone off duty. I said, but there was no water in the room. If they really can't do anything, I will just boil water. But please ask them to send a few more bottles of water the next day. The female receptionist said she would find a way. Then someone brought 2 bottles. It was a professional and positive service attitude. I really don't recommend it for the price of 1700+ a night. And the lobby was very messy and felt very unsafe.

The hotel is great, 5 minutes walk from Surfers Paradise Beach, next to the Surfers Paradise Central Mall, which should be the central area, with food, drinks and entertainment around. The room is very spacious, with two double beds, just right for a family of two adults and two children. It's only on the 26th floor, and the balcony is not enclosed, which is a bit scary to look down. The parking lot is just in front of the hotel gate, and you can park temporarily outside the lobby when checking in. The cost is 22 Australian dollars a day, and you can park until 12 o'clock the next night, which is OK. In short, except for the expensive holiday price, everything else is pretty good😄
