Erstklassige Lage und Hotel . Das einteilige Bettlaken war wesentlich schmaler als das Bett und absolut nicht ausreichend für zwei Personen

Diesmal haben wir nur das Restaurant zum Lunch besucht. Naja, die Speisenauswahl ist sehr gering. Die Portionen mickrig und die Preise unverschämt hoch. Ich hatte den Burger. Es war enttäuschend. Langweiliger Geschmack, wenig Pommes- einfach ein billiger 0815 Burger wie von einer Imbissbude. Sie wissen das es in der Umgebung keine weiteren Restaurants gibt und nutzen die aus. Der Service/ Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

I'll start with the positives: location, room (311), staff. However our 2nd night (Saturday) there was a loud party in the bar area (turned out to be below us) with music from midnight until 3 am. Needless to say, no sleep! We had already called the front desk at 10 pm due to running & screaming in the rooms & corridor above us. At that point we were offered another room, but as we were already in bed & the front desk promised to investigate, we said no. Little did we know that worse was to come! My point is that a hotel should tell guests at booking/check in if a party is scheduled & offer a suitable room. We were really disappointed as we had been to the hotels years before & found it charming. Not sure that we will ever return.

We stayed at this hotel so we could visit the Art and Industry Museum called The Twist. The hotel is located in a pretty area outside of Oslo (about 45 minutes). The bed and room were comfortable — perhaps they should have flater pillows to choose from though. 🤣 There is a restraunt and bar. The breakfast was fine. Great service in the dining area for breakfast. The lady that checked us in was very kind and professional. Check-out was very easy as we paid when we checked in! The grounds of the hotel are lovely. The room had a TV and a small sofa to sit on. Lots of art work all over the hotel public areas so take a walk around and look at everything.
