A days cooking class with the skilled and funny chef Antonella It was informative, enjoyable and tasty time. Her family run the hotel and assist and we met them all. We helped to prepare Fagolini soup, local pasta and sauce ( lamb and ricotta flakes); meatballs and the sweet pinelle d’Abruzzo. With our broken Italian and her better English we learned about the food and the stories of her childhood. Our group were amazed at the taste and quality of food made from simple ingredients. Added to that were the rose, white and red wines from their vineyard. We sat and ate in the sunny dining room looking at the beautiful view A terrific experience. We learned a great deal and had a wonderful time. Most of all we will remember the warmth and kindness of Antonella and her family.

Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Pulizia della camera e del bagno eccellente. Posizione centrale. In generale però servizi e parti comuni non da 4 stelle. Ristorante purtroppo non soddisfacente (porzioni, presentazione e qualità)... Mi spiace

Hotel accogliente in ottima posizione per visitare la città e dintorni. Abbiamo apprezzato la disponibilità e la gentilezza dello staff. Colazione soddisfacente. Comodo il parcheggio interno. Camera panoramica e molto silenziosa. Lo consigliamo.

Da Palermo a Sulmona per il Treno dei Parchi. Ho alloggiato per 5 notti presso l'hotel Santa Croce Ovidius di recentissima costruzione e strutturato con intelligenza.Camere,bagni,doccia spaziose e arredate con mobili moderni e semplici. Frigobar ,TV, WI e altre utilità hanno reso confortevole il soggiorno. Ascensore panoramico. Colazione continentale abbondante e varia. Le cene con primi piatti della tradizione locale, prevedono secondi piatti di carne o pesce. contorni e dessert. Il tutto preparato con maestria .Colazione continentale abbondante e varia .Le cene oltre al primo piatto della tradizione locale , prevedono carne o pesce alternati, sempre gustose.Per non parlare del personale tutto,professionale,preparato,educato ed insieme alla Proprietaria disponibili a dare indicazioni per itinerari più suggestivi. Ed infine la sera ho avuto il piacere di ascoltare al pianoforte il Maestro Francesco Mammola ,già presente in programmi RAI e concerti vari, con musiche Jazz ,Swing e altro che hanno incantato i presenti. Grazie di cuore per l'ospitalità e consiglio questo Hotel Santa Croce Ovidius di Sulmona. Saluti dott.Pippo

Hotel moderno, molto bello, in ottima posizione vicino al centro, raggiungibile a piedi. Rimarchevole il parcheggio interno, dove ho lasciato l'auto per l'intero soggiorno. La Direzione , molto attenta al benessere del cliente e alle sue esigenze, è stata piu' che cordiale e ci ha riservato una camera molto confortevole. La colazione ottima e abbondante. Spero di ritornare a Sulmona e di soggiornare ancora in questo Hotel Monica da Reggio Emilia

a dols house! very beautiful and warm atmosphere!! very kind, helpful and warm staff. spotless, clean and luxurious! very close to the city center but at a point that maintains the peace. in general, Sulmona is ideal for beautiful walks and tranquility! simply divine!!

In lovely spring weather we had 2 nights at this very fine hotel with direct view to the snowcapped mouintains. Reception friendly and fast. Room was quiet, full view to Gran Sasso! Fine beds, fine bathroom. Breakfast was indeed very good and a very warm service at breakfast.
