A very warm welcome Beautiful room Lots of attention to detail Staff were attentive kind and genuine The bed was so comfortable and huge! Decor is cosy lovely stand alone bath No request is too much for any staff member we encountered. Beyond helpful! Lovely customer service Highly recommend and already booked my next stay! Parking was easy Right next to the train station Thankyou to the hote and the team for making our stay so memorable X

Room was lovely, newly refurbished and very comfy; staff were delightful couldn’t have been more helpful; food was amazing - both dinner and breakfast were quality cuisine. Location very handy as it’s at the station! But didn’t notice any train noise. Recommend highly.

We had a fantastic stay at the Stroud Hotel. The room was beautifully designed, cozy, and spotless. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options that truly made our stay exceptional. Charles, the receptionist. His warm, friendly demeanor and attentive service made us feel right at home.

I had my book launch party in the function room at The Stroud Hotel and I can honestly say the staff could not have done more for us. When I arrived at the hotel, thirty minutes prior to my event beginning, everything had been laid out exactly as planned and we were assigned a member of staff as a point of contact to help us with any questions or requests. They charged us a fair price for lovely food and wine and made sure the occasion went off without a hitch. Would not hesitate to recommend this excellent hotel.

I would not recommend the Stroud hotel. We were placed in a room above a birthday party and the music played until well after midnight. Thumping base and extremely loud people. We did request the music be turned down and it actually got louder. Also the fire alarm went off around 11:30 PM. We got dressed and left our room and the fire alarm stopped but no staff notified us the building was safe.. The room was nice but extremely hot. No fans available. We ate dinner at the restaurant. The food was mediocre. Two tables near us actually returned food and drinks due to quality.

The Stroud have done it again! From the ease of booking a quick getaway in the heart of the Cotswolds to the impeccable greeting upon arrival, gorgeous rooms and stunning food and wonderful cocktails in the secret garden. We were blown away by the sheer excellence this Hotel and Bar exudes. We have already booked our next stay! Thank you Mike and Team, for another wonderful mini break. It’s quickly becoming our home away from home!

Wonderful brunch. Great service and lovely food. Very welcoming. Thank you for a local great brunch. Would highly recommend this place for a wonderful experience. Brunch was excellent value and service was so attentive. We will be back soon!

Met up with friends for lunch, food was great, staff were attentive and professional, the place was busy which gave a good atmosphere. The refurbishment was to a good standard, will definitely return and have a bottomless brunch instead of water!
