I recently visited Coursewall light house and unfortunately my experience was far from satisfactorily I was deeply disappointed with the level of service provided by the staff particularly kayleigh Cairns and michelle their behaviour was unprofessional and quite rude which made my visit unpleasant. I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving customer service. There is a lot of potential for this place to be a great destination but significant changes are needed in how guests are treated

I recently visited Coursewall Lighthouse, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The lighthouse itself is an impressive landmark, but the customer service left much to be desired. During my visit, I encountered staff members Michelle and Kayleigh Cairns, whose behavior was surprisingly rude and unprofessional. Their dismissive attitude and lack of assistance made the visit quite uncomfortable. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their customer service. A beautiful place like Coursewall Lighthouse deserves staff who are welcoming and courteous.

Delightful experience dining out tasting the 5 course dinner menu on offer at Corsewall l Lighthouse Hotel. All courses, from the monkfish starter to the chocolate soufflé were delicious to the palate. The purple sweet potato soup was unusual and very tasty. Chef Richard explained that he likes to experiment with flavours and the ingredients are carefully sourced. John and Kayleigh provided excellent service throughout our meal. Would highly recommend.

If you have not yet visited this location, whether for a stay or to try the incredible onsite restaurant, then you are *seriously missing out on some of the best experiences Scotland has to offer. This place is magical. The owners and staff are absolutely lovely and will go above and beyond for you. And the restaurant? Aside from this incredible location that offer breath-taking views, the food is absolutely delicious Scottish cuisine. Perfect for all occasions - honestly, I cannot wait to return.

Stopped for coffees and drinks for children. Good friendly service, warm comfortable lounge on a December afternoon with great views. Good price for excellent coffee. Children enjoyed ice creams. Hot chocolate excellent. Worth a visit

Recently had a 2 night stay here, what an amazing place to stay. Very small hotel, 5rooms on total in the main building, but they have separate apartments in the grounds. Rooms are quite small, but it is a working lighthouse after all, but clean & tidy. We had the 5 course evening meal option, which was really nice, but breakfast was a bit on the small side in my opinion. Drink prices are reasonable compared to some hotels. Overall I would say quirky!

This hotel is on the most wonderful site, we experienced all weathers, arriving in fierce winds we woke up to a glorious setting the next morning. We were made very welcome by the owners and the breakfasts were superb. Although there was a wide choice I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs every morning, perfect. Served with excellent coffee.

Staying locally in Kirkcolm, we booked a meal in the restaurant. We pre-booked our food as we were a large party of 7. The food was superb, beautifully presented and incredibly tasty; we loved the additional canapés, soup and sorbet which we were not expecting. Service was excellent and we felt very welcomed. A highlight of our week in Scotland.
