hotel was nice. Service was not

This is the most ratchet & unprofessional resort I have ever visited in my history of booking to getaway! The staff was ratchet, the guests were ratchet, the environment wasn’t the best for family looking for tranquility in Stone Mt! I had to clean my own room! I had to change the bedding then I couldn’t get extra bedding nor towels when requested! I asked for extra sofa because I was pregnant unfort I never was gotten back to about that so I didn’t sleep comfortably the second night due to dirty sheets making me feel uncomfortable!

The place was amazing. The employees were awesome, very friendly and courteous. The only thing I didn’t like was check in time was at 4 o’clock, but it was conveniently located for Stone Mountain and we got an Van service from the Hotel to take us to the laser light show which saved us a lot of time in travel And Eddie was our driver and he was amazing 

Customer service was lacking at most interactions. The bellman was helpful and wait staff so they helped boost this review from one star. But front desk, night coverage, and front desk manager were not helpful to addressing our needs or providing a basic partial reimbursement when our shower drain would not work. We were on a family vacation and needing to keeping on the road, so we had to get our showers in before we left. Were told by front desk that the protocol is they have to fix the drain before they could give us any consideration, I told them we needed to go and gave them my number but fixing it would not help us given it was check out time soon. Received no call back, were billed total amount plus a lot of additional fees. Called back after I received the bill and was placed on hold for 20 minutes and tried calling back again to receive no answer as if the front desk were avoiding my number. Great location but not great customer service.

The bed is like a marshmallow,so soft and comfy,it’s such a beautiful area,going up the mountain in the gondola was so much fun,and we walked down very scary but I’m so proud of myself,what a great experience. Bar downstairs very nice ,nice small eats ,burger,wings but perfect,Ebony was a great and friendly bartender everyone was so nice I will definitely go back,

My family and I stayed at this resort from August 29-Sept 3. Granted it was Labor Day Weekend, but it was overpriced for the services we received. Yes, the setting is beautiful and yes the front desk was staffed, but other than that, there is nothing special here. We were greeted in our room by having to pick up trash from the floor. On Friday & Saturday, we did have the do not disturb sign out but on Sunday it was not and our room was not serviced (no new towels, no trash emptied). If we hadn't seen a worker at 7:00 pm walking down the hall with towels, we wouldn't have gotten any clean ones. We also used grocery bags as trash bags because there were no extra liners in the bottom of the trash cans. Part of our family was staying in the room next to ours and theirs was serviced. In addition, the towel rack in the bathroom was attached to the wall only on one side. There were no luggage carts when we arrived in the middle of the day on a Thursday. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. And they charge you daily a fee for things you have not yet received. On Monday I checked our bill and we had $278.39 in charges yet my credit card had been charged $374.57. Yes on the day of check out the bill did finally match the charges but if they are going to pre-charge you, you should be informed when you check in. My "incidentals" charge when I arrived was $340.

Currently staying here and felt compelled to write this review. It’s Labor Day weekend…potentially one of the busiest of the year and there is barely anyone here working. It’s utterly perplexing. A check-in line snaking far down the corridor. A closed pool bar. No to-go orders at the downstairs restaurant because it means only 1 of 2 members of staff having to leave the bar to go upstairs and collect food. Never saw Starbucks open. Lobby marketplace had barely any products left. Truncated menus in restaurant that closed at 2pm (good luck getting ANYTHING to eat between 2 and 5pm). I could go on. What you do have are some exceptional members of staff going out of their way to still go above and beyond for guests and somehow retain their sanity in a set-up that’s completely failing them. The room upgrades are beautiful. The food I ordered…great. This could be the most wonderful experience. The lady who checked me in was fantastic but I can only imagine the stress she felt with a 50-strong line of people behind me. Ditto, shout out to Claudia and the other lady (whose name I unfortunately can’t remember) in the downstairs bar/restaurant who were somehow managing to smile through it whilst mixing great margaritas. Charging guests a “resort fee” is laughable and insulting. And putting your staff in this position is completely unacceptable. Please do something so this resort can reach its full potential.
