Stayed here for a reunion. Staff excellent, friendly, professional, thoughtful, kind. Rooms comfy, cosy. Garden beautiful. A fantastic experience. Were are/were a bunch of ex Falklands veterans and we could not have been treated better. Very well done everyone at The Three Cups.

Great bedroom and bathroom, with special additional touches, which gave a homely feel. The room was on the front of the building and above the restaurant but there were no disturbances'. Good parking at the rear of the property. No charge. Well kept large garden. Dinner was delicious and the service exceptional. Cooked to order breakfast. Buffets are not for me! Great location for Salisbury and Winchester, but don't miss out by not taking a wander around Stockbridge, before you leave. A truly delightful stay. Thank you

Called in for lunch what a lovely old place, was able to sit in the back area outside really nice, the service was excellent and on ordering food it was prepared and brought out and served with a smile and politely. the Moules were excellent and venison lasagne was also very good.Very well priced for a lunch. All in all a wonderful place.

Lovely quirky, immaculately clean and comfy room with many lovely personal touches. All staff were very welcoming and friendly and dog friendly too. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was delicious ( best mushrooms ever). A lovely stay thanks

Went with some friends for our annual christmas get together/booze up and as always the 'cups came up trumps. a traditional pub with log fires and friendly staff. The rooms were immaculate, roomy and had all the facilities you need at a very good price. the bar team were excellent, and made out stay memorable. The (included) full English breakfast put paid to a miserable hangover and was delicious. We went last year too, and had a similar experience. The locals were friendly and overall i couldn't fault the place. we will be back for the same next year!! Thanks to the staff of the 3 Cups!

Lovely family lunch. All of our food was delicious. Local trout. Great sausage and mash, burgers and fish and chips. Nice local beers. Friendly staff, amazing old building. Just what we needed. Thanks

Came here for our team night out for Christmas. Great service and atmosphere in the pub. Food was great with the highlight definitely being the smoked trout starter which was amazing! The boss stayed overnight and said the room was clean, warm and comfortable.

A couple of friends and I went to the Three Cups on Sunday for a few beers and a catch up, with an overnight stay. The pub was just what we wanted, a lovely country pub with low ceilings, good ambience, open fires and well kept beer from a local brewery. The staff were friendly , and in fact did everything they could to make our stay special, even letting us stay in the bar area to finish our wine and whiskies while they locked up. The rooms were clean and comfy, and the breakfast the next day was delicious. Thanks to all at the Three cups. we will be back.

I've eaten this pub before when in Stockbridge but my latest visit was disappointing. Firstly, let me say, the pub has a really wonderful atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful and I'd actually recommend for a drinks only evening. The food however, really didn't impress. It's a very basic pub menu, which is fine but if you offer basic fare, it needs to be good quality and well cooked if you're charging restaurant prices. 3 anaemic, small, poor quality sausages on a bed of (ungarlicky) garlic mask and a bit of uncooked kale, doesn't hit the mark. When the waitress asked how it was, I commented that the kale wasn't cooked (I'm not someone who usually complains) My plate was removed and returned 60 seconds later with the kale still uncooked (couldn't be bothered to ask again). My friends were equally disappointed with their meals. 3 basic mains, 2 (admittedly good) puddings and 2 drinks each for £120 didn't feel like money well spent. I want to give this pub another chance because of the atmosphere but unsure...
