We stayed one night here before going to Six Flags (a 5 minute drive) the next day. I must admit, Google lists it as a 2 star property and I was a little apprehensive about what I got myself into. I'm happy to say I think the hotel is worth much more than that.. This is a solid, perhaps somewhat dated Fairfield hotel. The color scheme of yellow and blue seems a bit dated to me but overall, our stay was quite comfortable. The room was large and accommodating, beds were nice and the bathroom perfectly adequate. It probably just needs a bit of a reno. Staff were friendly from check-in to the breakfast in the morning. Other than a technology blip trying to swipe our credit card on a machine that didn't work, we had no problems with our stay. We didn't try any of the amenities other than the breakfast which was surprisingly large and well stocked for such a small area. The hotel also seemed a bit quiet when we were there which is perhaps why breakfast seemed so plentiful. Lastly, it's easy to find off the highway and surrounded by massive amounts of food places for eating, groceries etc. You won't go hungry in a one mile radius around the the hotel. Overall, a completely fine, decent stay.
