This was the perfect hidden gem!
Bonus, they gave pets. I was missing mine at home so badly, so being able to pet the cats and dogs made me feel at home. The food was also fantastic and the staff was so kind.

I loved it. The food was excellent. Best dinner I've had. Rooms beautiful. Very clean, excellent staff. Wood fire hot tub was awesome! Beautiful location! Our party of 10 loved our stay.

It was a nice stay in Stellenbosch with this beautiful accommodation with a clean and comfortable room. We really enjoyed drinking wine in the community room with the nice fireplace. Due to the power failure for 1 day we couldn’t take hot shower and recharge our electronic devices but the owner helped us with this problem. The breakfast and dinner was very good and tasty but portions could be more for a big men like me. The dinner was a little bit too expensive comparing with the restaurants in Stellenbosch. The staff is very friendly and they are doing a great job. The wines are very tasty and very valuable.

Fantastic place to stay. Everything from the surroundings, rooms, decor and service. We had a spacious room with a huge king size bed from where you could see the beautiful views. If you are looking for peace and quiet together with high quality of your staying this is the place. The location is perfect if you want to do wine tastings and within a few minutes you reach one of the best win yards. The little pool, sunbeds and bicycles was highly appreciated. The only thing we didn’t understand was the prices of the dinner menu that was unreasonably high.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Lodge ist traumhaft und ruhig gelegen, mitten in den Weinbergen des Weinguts Louisvale. Das ganze Grundstück ist wunderschön angelegt mit Blick auf einen kleinen See, die Berge und die ganze Landschaft. Es gibt einen Pool und jede Menge komfortable Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen. Die Zimmer und das Bad sind sehr groß, und mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Vom Bett aus hat man einen tollen Blick in die Landschaft. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Bar im Gemeinschaftsbereich. Hier konnte man sich auf Vertrauensbasis jederzeit selbst mit hervorragendem Wein und anderen Getränken versorgen, die dann am Ende der Reise beglichen wurden. Ganz besonders können wir auch das Abendessen empfehlen. Das war wirklich hervorragend. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich, auch untereinander herrschte eine sehr gute Stimmung. Zu der Lodge gehören 2 entzückende Hunde, die sich außerhalb aufhalten und 2 sehr friedliche Katzen, die gerne am Kamin liegen. Das hat das Ganze für uns richtig gemütlich gemacht. Wir können die Log Cabin Lodge wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Excellent experience, great sized accommodation, comfortable, clean, excellent breakfast, Pessi welcomed us very well, prepared a typical dinner for us, it was delicious. Accommodation with incredible views, ideal place to rest.
