ATV and Snowmobile Trails come right to Balsam Hill Cabins. The Cabins are right on the old Stagecoach Road that is 220 years old. We just fixed Old County Road to the Cabins.We are located 2 miles from Route 1 Milbridge and about 2 miles from Route 1A Milbridge and from Downeast Sunrise Trail ATV and Snowmobile accessible.Find us on YouTube Wild animals & cabins.A-Frame Cabin 10’by10’ built with reclaimed rustic distressed natural weathered lumber, private, fire pit, benches, picnic table and hammock. The Cabin is 75’ from Old County Road and 200’ from the parking area.A cell phone booster is at the campground which works good and runs all the time and no wifi or power at the cabins off grid. Shower is located at the cabins.We are located 2 miles from Route 1 Milbridge and about 2 miles from Route 1A Milbridge and we just fixed the Old County Road and the parking area and the road is settling from being fixed but low cars have been making into the parking area with no problems.The paths are primitive and not suited for people who have trouble walking on uneven ground.We provide solar lights, butane cooking stove, extra butanes, battery bank charger, 1 small bottled water per guests and plush blankets, sleeping bags and comforters. Cooking pan with cover, frypan, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, cooking utensils, knife set, silverware set, mixing bowls, vegetable peeler, can opener, barbecue utensils, paper plates, plastic silverware, paper cups, off grid coffee maker, matches and cooler.
