My wife and I typically love staying here in the past for the convenience of proximity but after this weekend never! The Front Desk Clerk April is aggressive, unprofessional, ghetto, takes random smoke breaks, and is hardly at the front desk. She ultimately made our 4-night stay very unpleasant. - I love to use my digital key for Hilton properties but mine didn't work for this property and April did not try to assist however went on about technology and Hilton need to upgrade their digital key while issuing me room keys. -Another interaction the same as a previous reviewer April became very aggressive when asking about the late checkout as we are in our 50's and booked under the AARP rate. She stated the hotel was not full and a late checkout was possible however when I was trying to explain to her we were booked under the AARP rate she stated no she could not honor that rate and if we stayed past 12 her GM (Roxanne) would definitely charge us over time. It was a complete scene and uncalled for not to honor a rate Hilton clearly advertises if availability premises, in which April had already stated the hotel was not full. - My wife and I came home very frustrated. We will be escalating our concerns to corporate, and will be sure to provide this feedback on every platform!

After I checked in to the room, two other “guests” unlocked my door with a card and went straight in to the room, I don’t know if they where thief’s or just other guests who just got into the wrong room. When I talked to the reception about this they just said that it’s not possible for anyone else to open the door since it’s only booked for me. After I got a new room, I had to get new keycards every day for the rest of my stay since they stopped working.

I’ll start off by saying when I first checked in I was definitely helped out so much the staff was super kind and helping me get my luggage in since I had so much and I’ve had to move in here at the last minute but there has been some disconnect Three days after I checked in I had a conversation with the manager Evan about me extending my stay I was informed by the manager Evan that I needed to pay for the room no later than Monday since our check out was going to be for 27 February that Tuesday. I came to the front desk on Saturday attempting to pay for another week and then I was informed that they were booked up that I was in capable of making this new booking. I was very confused and eggs. How was it that I was told by a lady which is Miss Evan I found out later is the manager general manager of the Spring Hill Suites that if I paid it no later than Monday that we will be able to secure the room I asked for them to contact Ms. Evans and Manager and before Miss Evans to call me back the lady name is Lisa Mack talk to me on the telephone when I called down to the front desk and told me that there was nothing that she could do and when I explain to her my conversation I had with Miss Evans her response was is no way that she can believe them as Evans would have told me that I needed to pay no later than Monday and my room will be secure every time I continue to explain what was going on and ask for clarity Miss Lisa Mac cut me off I Wanda, responding and asking or telling her this is what I was informed by another person here at the hotel she behaved like and I told her I’m a guest though, so she shouldn’t be talking to me like this she should be allowing me to speak them. Ms. Lisa Mac responded by saying since you’re telling me that I’m behaving badly I’m ending this phone conversation and she hung up the phone I only have been attempting to get clarity on why no one told me to just make a reservation from the start of me coming here and telling them that I had a head injury at my check in and telling them that I need a little bit more help I think someone could’ve told me then all I needed to do was make a reservation even when I spoke to Miss Evans on Friday to meme is Evans could have told me then I need to make a reservation before everyone to just say oops our bad I don’t understand how that’s OK for Miss Lisa Mac, to be able to yell at me, be aggressive with me, and then lie and tell other people that she’s working with that I was belligerent when I was not I wanna understand why what’s going on what type of person is here in contact with guess, how is she able to behave this way and then the management Ms. Evans she too sounded aggressive because she said she was at a conference and she was getting a whole bunch of phone calls but I am the one that’s disabled and who was not given the full information to be able to make sure that my children school is not disrupted again my initial everything else mostly has been OK. This is a bit of a mixed review. I was welcomed very warmly at this property, and it seems like it is run by a family and they are all very friendly and helpful. They even have a manager's reception for the guests with free food and drinks. The property is in pretty good working order. On the negative side, the hotel isn't in the nicest area, although I would not say it's dangerous or anything. I have a pet that I need to walk every night, and did feel safe, but the lack of sidewalks on a few of the streets made it a bit challenging. Also, the air conditioning in our room did not seem to be working very well. We had it set at the lowest temperature possible, and it was still pretty warm and stuffy in the room. Other than that, everything was fine and our room was really nice and big for our three nights stay.

Nice hotel Quiet Clean Rooms Ideal for families. There is an offer to do your grocery shopping if required. Sir conditioned rooms. Staff and fantastic and accommodating I would stay here again if I visited Houston.

We stayed here one night after a show at the Sugar Land Financial Centre. Check in was a breeze and we got a first floor kitchen suite that was pet-friendly for our dog. The pet fee is $50 + tax (yeah, there's a tax on the dog fee). The room was large since it had the full kitchen suite, bed was comfortable and water pressure was good. There's also a ceiling fan in the room, which is always nice. First floor is ideal with a dog since you can get outside really quickly. There is plenty of grass and dog poo stations. Breakfast was simple but perfectly good. Fluffy scrambled eggs, tator tots, turkey sausge, fresh fruit, various breads, oatmeal and cereal. The hotel is right off the freeway, so it's easy to get around.

Homewood Suites is always my favorite. Free breakfast, full refrigerator, microwave, stove top, sofa bed, very roomy room. Very quiet location, perfect weather to just hang by the pool and chat. Home away from home.
