The hotel is in a good location. There is a small shopping mall opposite and there are shops below. It may be inconvenient if you have a lot of large luggage, because the vehicle cannot drive directly to the hotel gate. You need to get off the car on the hillside and walk in with your luggage. There is no service staff at the intersection to greet those who take the luggage. The front desk staff and restaurant service staff are very enthusiastic. The room decoration is relatively new, but the quality is average. The building next door is currently under construction. When getting a room, it is best to tell the front desk staff that you request a room further away.
Neat, clean, well decorated and great service by the staff. It was my first time at the hotel and the staff were very helpful in leading me to the location by sending one of their team members who took my heavy trolley and helped me reach the hotel. I received a welcome personalised message on a letter styled card by the hotel manager to make me feel welcomed. The room was nice that had a balcony , I was pleased with the bathroom size, the presence of the bath gel and hand gel large sized bottles. Well furnished and WiFi working well. They also have a cafe and restaurant area for breakfast. I recommend this hotel also because the location is ideally located.
Such an amazing stay. Very comfortable beds, spotless clean, stunning sea view from the balcony. There are 2 pools, both heated, indoor pool with some spa features, gym, rooftop pool with sunbeds around including the bar, incredible view. Paceville clubbing area is just a few yards away, although the rooms with sea view are on the side opposite clubbing noise. Breakfast food amazing, just a bit overcrowded at times.
Hotel is a part of shopping mall building and the only thing I could criticise are elevators shared with shoppers (i.e covid measures) sometimes takes forever to get one.
Overall, one of my best stays.
It's next to Gwolhanae Park, so it's a 5-day tour.
It was convenient.
The famous old town is about a 10-minute walk away.
Tourist attractions, Galata Bridge dock, Grand Bazaar, etc.
It was nice to be able to visit almost all the attractions.
To get there from the airport, take the Harvest Airport Bus from the B2 floor and it takes about 1 hour.
Get off at Aksaray Station, move right next to it, take the tram, and get off at the 4th Gwalhane Park stop, which is located just 50m away.
I really like the convenience.
The downside is that the room is a bit small, but everything else, including the price.
I am satisfied.
The rooms are a bit small, others are good, and travel is very convenient.
Breakfast is not used in the hotel, the breakfast price is 10 Euro per person.
No extra bed in the room, no extra room
There is no dedicated parking lot. There is parking space at the entrance of the hotel.
I changed my accommodation imminently and was worried because there weren't many reviews, but all the reviews were good, so I made a reservation. The room was remodeled, so it was very clean, the interior was nice, and the location was good 🚌 It was easy to ride, there were a variety of foods nearby, and it was good to see the supermarket and nearby attractions. :) Check-in was also better. Please do it early :) However, the bathroom exhaust fan is a little noisy, but it's really good for the price. I think it's because it's the off-season :)

Outstanding
YYan Tong KohNice location if one is looking for a seaside holiday. Quiet, peaceful with lovely views of the sea. If one is looking for a location that is easy to travel around, then staying at Valletta might be more convenient as the bus and main ferry terminal is situated there. However, if one is touring by car / taxi then the consideration where the bus terminal is would be less important.
Filling breakfast (though it doesn’t vary very much from day to day) and serves its function of filling one up for the start of the day! Rooms are neat and tidy, some areas show wear and tear but does not affect the overall functionality of the room. Good and clean comfy beds.
Excellent service by the hotel staff who made the stay enjoyable. We unfortunately had an accident with the sliding bathroom door but the hotel staff did their best to make the rest of our stay as worry-free as possible.
GGuest UserThe two best things about this hotel for me were the location and the service though in many ways wherever you stay the latter is probably going to be the most important.
I rashly booked somewhere in St Julian not realising it was the centre of nightlife in Malta. I was hoping for somewhere more quiet! However, fate then led me to book the Ivy and I was glad in the end that I had booked ‘blind’. Its location is actually on a quiet street yet just a few mins from the action. Because if it’s location I’d certainly think about staying there again.
The room was spacious, clean and really well apportioned. Super modern bathroom and pleasant balcony. The tea and coffee making facilities were unexpected but most welcome.
I should mention the food. I had breakfast each day and it was tasty, varied and plentiful. I didn’t really go for the cooked breakfast option as I tend to prefer the traditional English cooked breakfast which I find is not easily replicated abroad. What I could see looked decent enough though.
The service however is what sells the place. I don’t know the manager’s name but we did exchange a few words. She struck me as someone who runs a tight ship whilst also managing to nurture a genuinely friendly and helpful approach towards customer service. Service was therefore both efficient and effective, staff courteous and attentive. Qualities reflected by everyone I met.
So, all in all, a great stay thank you!
GGuest UserGreat location near all bars and a short walk to the bays etc Bus stops nearby. Lift to all levels and the rooms were good size and clean with kettle, coffee-making facilities. Ideal.for a solo traveller
FFabinnThe hotel is quite old - not sure if it is recently refurbished. Our balcony is right next to the path to the beach with a connecting door… very noisy in the morning and totally lack of privacy. And it was not communicated to us upon arrival.
The safety box in the room is malfunctioned… so I carried all my valuables with me. Unfortunately, on our way back to hotel, our passports and cash got stollen…
I requested for make-up service the second day (we stayed for two nights) but nobody came. So we didnt get the room made up. Very disappointed.
The view from the room is probably the highlight. And the access to the pool of the sister property is a perk.
Reception team is not friendly. Never provided proactive service.
GGuest UserThis was my first time at Antoniel Suites. I arrived late at night after midnight from the airport. Once I arrived I found the door locked and nobody was at the reception. Initially, I was anxious and worried, not sure of what to do but then luckily I found a big note mentioning the working times of the reception and the numbers to contact in case we needed help. I called the number and I received assistance directly. It was my mistake because I did not inform the reception of my arrival time even though they had sent me a message but due to my busy schedule, I missed the opportunity to check the message and reply on time. In this context, while this is a negative point that a reception must be available 24/7 since standard hotels will have this in place, however, I am thankful to the hotel for the fact they accommodated my need immediately when I arrived despite the odd hour. Also, they were accessible via WhatsApp number/call. However, I do strongly recommend the hotel administration change this and instead have a 24/7 receptionist since it can be intimidating for people at the first instance to not find anyone at the counter and a door locked. In terms of the room's cleanliness, it was reasonably clean and the bed was comfortable. Also, the balcony view was the best part because I could keep it open at night and sleep instead of using air conditioning. In terms of the basic amenities, i.e., there was no toothpaste or tooth brush or water bottle or kettle so do not expect anything luxury. Whether I would stay here again, I am not sure because it did not fulfil all my requirements and from a value for money perspective no it does not deserve that much because there were minimal requirements in place, however I would like to thank you the staff because they were friendly, helpful to the best of their ability and dealt with guests with respect and utmost professionalism.
GGuest UserIt was a pity that it wasn't the best season to use the swimming pool. However, the night view and sunrise seen from the hotel room became unforgettable memories for my friend and me.
EEwelinaJak najbardziej polecam hotel, czysto, codziennie sprzątane pokoje, a najważniejsze że minutę drogi do przystanków autobusowych. Obsługa hotelu bardzo miła.
SShamuzWhen we arrived for check in we had problems with the booking as we was given the wrong room type by the supplier as we booked partial sea view room and we was checked into elegant non balcony room. The room was not what was expecting and we was disappointed and it ruined our stay at the hotel and the hotel was fully booked so we couldnt switch to the room we payed for. But we did get alot of help from Theo who worked in the reservations department. He tryed his best to accommodate us to the right room he was very friendly and polite and kept us updated all the time on the process, but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked,
Though it wasent the hotels fault it was trip.com/expedia he offered breakfast for free during our whole stay at the hotel as a consultation for all the hassle during the stay.
Trip.com did offer to reimburse the money we had lost paying for the pricer room type while we was staying in a lower cost room, but we was disappointed in the compensation trip.com offered us and this ruined our whole holiday. And apparently this has happened on many occasions to other guests so my suggestion is the definately call the hotel of your booking agency to confirm your room.
Once again thank you Theo of H Hotel for your kindness.
GGuest UserReception staff helped with early check in and responded to email enquiry promptly out of hours
Room was serviced properly every day
Quiet ant night and very location a short walk from Spinola Bay/St Julian’s- safe at night
WiFi in room only downside. Very poor signal and hard to connect too all week
GGuest UserThe service for the price is very good.
Breakfast includes some bread and tomatoes and cucumbers including croissants, several kinds of cheese and ham, jams and boiled *, yogurt cereal, coffee machine and juice machine there is. apple and orange.
The room is large and has a balcony. With hair dryer and soap. There is also a refrigerator. Towels are also changed every day and they are cleaned. Check-out is easy to just put the key in the box. There is also a rooftop pool, but it was cold so I didn't use it, but it is a small and cute pool.
The unfortunate point is the noise caused by the oldness of the equipment and the construction of the neighborhood.
The flush button in the toilet was broken. It can be flushed, but there is always a sound of water. The shower head was also a little broken and it was difficult to use. The air conditioner was not on and it was a little cold at night, no matter what daytime. The most difficult thing was the noise. Construction is being carried out in front of me from morning till evening, and I feel the rattling and shaking. In addition, people were noisy at night and noisy. (Is it because it is a city) I think it is basically a good inn considering the price.
