Beachfront Bed & Breakfast
4.5/5101 Reviews
We spent 4 lovely and relaxing nights in the lower room of the beach house. We enjoyed the privacy and roominess of the room, with access to the main living area upstairs. The upstairs bedrooms were charming. The glasses in sunroom had a lovely sea view. Andrea, Cindy, and Lily made us delicious and filling a breakfast every morning. They had wonderful suggestions for things to do & see and restaurants. The pool and the hot tub were perfect. The boardwalk was a quick walk to the beach. One word of advice, if you’re going to walk in the beach at night, be sure to mark, or otherwise keep up with the beach entrance to the boardwalk. The Beachfront B&B was definitely a romantic stay. We will stay there again and highly recommend it.
Smart Stay Inn - Saint Augustine

Our experience at the Smart Stay Inn was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the front desk personnel. The room was very clean, and the pool area was so relaxing. Great staff and friendly. Nice restaurant in the area and not far away. I would recommend this hotel.

On July 5, I booked a room for 2 nights at this location through the Hilton website. I purchased the Hilton honor advanced purchase rate (which is non cancelable). Today the Hilton honors rate is $30 less on the Hilton site and much less on 3rd party sites. As a Hilton member where I booked events and meetings at Hilton properties, I thought there will be no problem with a rate adjustment (right?) I am a HONORS MEMBER. WRONG!!! The run around and wait time I experienced was more than an hour. I spoke with 3 people who all blamed the next person. The first woman said her screen wouldn't allow her to change the rate so she sent me to Louis at the Hilton advanced purchased dept. Louis said there was nothing she could do because it was their policy not to adjust rates on a pre purchased reservation. She also said the first person gave wrong information. I asked to speak to a supervisor. This woman named Satima said because I purchased the room on July 5 and today was July 17 that was more than 2 weeks ago. Wrong....do your math that's 12 days ago. She worked in the ”Diamond department” which she said was part of Hilton Corporate. So each employee blamed something for why they couldn't adjust the rate. Now when I called the hotel directly at 904-280-1661 they don't answer and eventually it goes to a disconnected cell phone number. So what are the advantages of being a Hilton Honors member? Nothing as far as I can see and their customer service is horrible. Stay at Marriott or Hyatt or any place else but not at a Hilton. You would think that after Covid they would do anything to keep business. This is just really bad business and a scam to keep money. Next I will call my credit card company. Just thought I should share this because being ripped off by this company is something that people should be aware of and should steer clear of pre paid rates and anything Hilton.
Quality Inn & Suites St Augustine Beach Area

We weren't expecting much but the rolling carts at 3am and people outside arguing half the night ruined our sleep. Room did look clean but honestly looking at poor repair job in bathroom showing water stains, mismatched paint, poor patches, etc just makes it look like the owner gave up on the place. Ssriously, $100 wouldve at least made the bathroom respectable. It's a shame. Only 10 from amphitheater and so close to beach there is a lot of potential. We expected more from a Quality Inn.

when we arrived, there was water dripping from the ceiling onto the desk. We were told it was from humidity. There was also water dripping on the floor. The first room we were in was a very last room at the end of the hall. even tho We reserved our rooms several weeks earlier. We are seniors with a walker so we requested a room close to the elevator. We arrived to get the very last room at the end of the hall even though there were empty rooms in between. After requesting another room we were moved the next day. The next room, we were in felt really damp, even the bed, carpet and counters felt damp. it got So bad the tile floors had pools of water. We requested maintenance who came and did some adjusting to the air conditioner and thermostat.. it Was so bad the next day, my nephew, put towels on the floor for us to walk on to keep from falling,We again called maintenance this guy didn’t see a problem. Finally we ask for the manager who moved us to another room. I want to say Vanassa at the front desk, the young lady in the dining room and the manager are wonderful but Hampton hotels are getting old they do a few cosmetic things but there are major issues. also, if you want to pay for an ocean view request the fourth floor if you’re down, you’re gonna have to try to look through the trees and you can barely see the ocean that is not worth paying the extra money for. This is the worst Hampton we have stayed in and we will be looking for other brands for upcoming trips. to be fair, they did give us one free night.

We paid extra for breakfast and they didn’t collect any. Anyone could eat! The the last day one waitress was hit and miss with people coming in and charging some. If she left the front then anyone could help themselves. The hot tub and the pool was beautiful but freezing cold! No one could use them. And there wasn’t any notice given. Also the hotel smelled horrible two nights with a strong sulfur odor. The rooms weren’t fully made up. I got clean towels at 5:00 at night but the room was never remade.
