To start, you are emailed codes to get in the front door and into your room. There is no one to greet you. You are asked to take your shoes off at the door. If you have a problem you are suppose to text the owner or housekeeping. Upon arrival, we found that the bed was so high (up to my waist), that there was no way that I would be able to climb into it at night. I tried texting the owner for a stool. Got no reply, so we phoned them and were told we would get a stool the next day. Meanwhile, there was an old fashioned couch at the end of the bed that I had to climb on to get into the bed. We were there 2 nights and a stool never showed up. The bed was very comfortable though. I texted housekeeping after the first night for another box of kleenex. They changed our towels, which we didn't ask for, but we never got another box of kleenex. We came through again and stayed 2 more nights. We checked ourselves in just as housekeeping was finishing our room, so I was able to ask for a stool again in person and got one this time. I also noticed there wasn't a box of kleenex in the room. If you book a room here, make sure to request a stool if you are less than 5 1/2 feet tall. The best part of staying here was the breakfast and chef Norm. He gave us wonderful breakfasts and was such a character to chat with. We really looked forward to our breakfasts. I would have given 4 stars just for him.
