Srinagar Hotels with Gym

Fabulous location, we were welcomed very warmly and the car was valet parked which was important as it was cold and raining. We were offered a warm drink and a comfortable place to sit whilst the formalities of check in were completed. We didn’t even have time to finish our drink before we were offered an upgraded room at no extra cost. WOW! The room was spacious, beautifully dressed and we were shown our own private balcony with the most spectacular view and this was also very nicely furnished. Everything was as we’d hoped and expected, because the hotel is EXPENSIVE, but we received exactly what we paid for. All the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the Pandemic has affected everyone and this hotel has had to do it’s best to survive these difficult times. The facilities in the Spa have been cut back to save costs but when we went to use it the place was warmed and treatments were enhanced to ensure we were more than satisfied. Luxury is expensive and we really enjoyed the pampering!!! All I can say is that this hotel and the treatment of their guests is everything you would expect for the price you have to pay. If wehad unlimited money we would stay only here when we visit Kashmir, which I do often to visit family. Even when we do visit family here we often visit the hotel, just to enjoy the gardens and admire the building and the ambience. Although we may not spend one penny on these visits the treatment by the staff has always been the same as we experienced on this visit. One word to describe this hotel FABULOUS.

Nice experience. May be the best location in Srinagar. Services and food are at par with what we expect of any Taj group hotel. The view from our balcony ( Room 1228) especially the sunset and the evening view of the city was fascinating. The inroom dining experience was great and we ordered Moong dal Khichdi and Spaghetti Bolognese. Laundry was real fast. We had given some dirty clothes at 9pm in the evening and got them back by 7:30 am in the morning. Overall the service men were very polite with typical Kashmiri gentleness. Overall great experience, though the cost was a little on higher side.

Superb hotel . Small but extremely neat and the service was phenomenal. Check in was super quick and they made sure we all got rooms on the same floor since we were a group of 7 . Welcome drink was a hot Kawa with honey . And since I don’t have honey they insisted on another welcome drink . So I requested for a masala tea which they delivered piping hot to my room just after check in . The room itself was large spacious and very comfortable. A verandah outside facing the main road .. yes a bit of noise with cars honking etc but honestly didn’t bother us . Adequate drinking water 6 bottles for just two of us ! Breakfast was ok . They can improve quality of taste , food and presentation. But the service at breakfast is so good that it compensates for everything. We also booked a car for sightseeing and airport drop . The hotel was very helpful I guiding us where to go in our limited time frame . Thank you Sheraton .. it was a very good and comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, in fact we reached the hotel at 8:30am and they allowed us for early check in without any extra charges. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The breakfast spread is also good not that lavish but still good. And the add-on perk is, that they give facilities like gym, steam, suna on the house with no added charges.

A hotel inside a shopping complexes. The whole complex was shabby and cold. When we arrived the receptionist had poor understanding of English. The hotel was completely empty and the restaurant had a sign saying “Opening Soon” printed on paper and stuck with tape. This was like a warning of a poorly operated establishment. Rooms: Warning Noise: look outside your window and check for the generator next to it. The first room we were put in was right next to it. When I asked to move they said it was not a problem it will be off in 30 minutes. It did go off but we had to bear that noise for too long. Warning Cold: the room was like a fridge. It is large and sparsely furnished. There was no way the heater/AC was going to make it bearable. After two hours of complaining and multiple visits by “technicians” and other foolish people they moved us to a smaller room where at least a tiny bit of heat was coming from the heater/AC. They supplied another tiny fan heater and by about 11pm the room was bearable. The bathroom remained like a fridge. Warning Dirty Bathroom: the bathroom had long hairs in the sink and on the floor. You could see dust in various places. The water that filled the bucket was yellowish! Rusting pipes or worse? They didn’t switch on the hot water so we had to ask them. It obvious there is some pressure pump on the hot side but none on the cold supply so it was difficult to get warm water. It was either scolding hot or freezing with a tiny movement of the adjustment. Warning Restaurant: the place had a forlorn and empty feeling. All the tables had a layer of dust which showed that they had no guests for a long time and nobody expected they would come. The food was pathetic. Service: this place was like a comedy sketch. The characters were surly and not at all understanding to the meaning of dealing with guests and seemed completely oblivious to the obvious failures as though this was normal and to be expected. The owner must be loosing in crores their investment in this pathetic attempt at running a hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mirage, situated in a serene part of Srinagar. The rooms were incredibly spacious and luxurious, making our accommodation very comfortable. The food was delightful, and the staff was exceptionally helpful. Mr. Nazeer provided excellent room service, ensuring our needs were met promptly. A special mention goes to Mr. Zulfi, who went above and beyond to ensure our tour was unforgettable. His dedication truly made our experience memorable.
