The hotel environment is very good, the room is very clean, and there is a washing machine and dryer. There is a kitchen, coffee machine, oven, microwave, and refrigerator. You can cook by yourself, just like at home.
It is very close to the metro and trams, and the transportation is convenient.
The supermarket is about 5 minutes walk away, and shopping is also convenient.
The only thing is that I was charged a deposit of 300 dollars when I checked in. It has been 3 days and it has not been returned to me.

Check in was simple and easy. Super spacious living and dining area. Excellent location. Overall very good except for being on the lowest floor which is very dark throughout the day. Bathroom and kitchen amenities are complete. Also the reception charged me $1 on arrival without even mentioning it is absolutely unacceptable. Only when I asked about on departure, they said it was solely to verify my credit card and would be released. Well, I suppose I should be notified by them rather than by my bank.

We have stayed here a couple of times, highly recommend. Good location and really amazing (I hate to use the word staff) girls on reception, so pleasant and helpful, really lovely. Just booked to stay again next year. So close to supermarket and restaurants

Was a wonderful place to stay, everything was clean and the rooms were spacious with a balcony! Loved the fact that a toothbrush and toothpaste was provided in case you forget to pack yours. Would highly recommend

First time staying at district South Yarra room was very clean,excellent location, good value for money, the staff where very friendly from time of booking through to time of checkout nothing was to much trouble . I would definitely stay here again.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at District South Yarra. Staff are great - can't do enough to help. Location is terrific, just a couple of minutes walk from train station, with lots of food places including a supermarket just a few steps away Apartment was super clean and tidy, with a good amount of space and great facilities. But despite being in a busy area, hotel room was quiet, beds were comfortable and we had a great stay. Would definitely stay again, really enjoyed our visit to District South Yarra. If you are looking for an apartment hotel in Melbourne and don't mind being a little bit out of the city centre, then this is a great choice!

This place is terrible the worst part is the service . The girls that work there are so unhelpful and rude. I was there over 15 days renting 2 rooms and they denied to clean my room even though I was with kids. Worst part one of the rooms the plugs DID NOT work and it made me late to an important meeting. It’s it the worst!! Please don’t go there!
