First night we discovered no shower gel in the dispenser and the split system did not work which was appalling given it was Winter in Toowoomba. Second night - no change - room not serviced and now out of toilet paper - 3 women in a room and 1 roll of toilet paper for a 4 night booking - morning of the third day, I managed to catch the manager before we left for the day - I was abused and berated by this individual with a condescending, chauvinistic attitude - he claimed we had not mentioned that we wanted the room serviced and that it was standard practice in the industry not to service rooms except on departure - if that is the case, why was there no soap on arrival ? - we stayed at 6 different motels including Rockhampton, Longreach, Winton and Charleville on our 2 week holiday and this motel, in particular the male manager, was clearly the most distressing experience of the entire trip. I will be lodging a complaint about this abhorrent individual with ALL industry bodies.
