I’m a frequent traveler and I have to say, this hotel is garbage, dated and a hot mess. The only thing this is useful for is you’re on a road trip and you just have to get some sleep before moving on the next day. Everything is dated like the 90s. The desk isn’t a desk, it’s a table. The chair isn’t a desk chair it is some uncomfortable garbage that is the wrong height for the table. There are insufficient storage places, no useful furniture. But the most egregious omission in 2024 is the total lack of power outlets. What you can find involves moving furniture, scrabbling on the floor. Now other very dated hotels have fixed this with power outlets built into alarm clocks or table lamps. This place has not bothered. And I don’t take kindly to having to scrabble around on some dirty old carpet looking for power. Most of us travel with a phone, a computer/tablet and maybe a handful of other electronics. Of course we want to plug in. This hotel has chosen to do the minimum requirement to be passable, and benefits from a lack of nearby competition. But it falls a long way short of standards even with the often mediocre Fairfield sub brand.
