We visited this property while in our Goa trip this year.We went to explore Netravali waterfalls and wildlife sanctuary and after exploring all day,we were tired and wanted to have some food and rest for a while before heading back to Main goa city.Upon searching we found this property,in the location and we were quite surprised how cum a 5 star hotel was operating at such a desserted location.Nonetheless,we went to have food and explore the property. It was a resort spread across 20 plus acres.Upon arrival we were met by the resort manager who allowed us to have a showround and also to dine in at their main restaurant.Located at a seculded location, with very few to almost no locality nearby, and almost facing the jungle,we expected it to be filled with staffs and security personnels and high fencing was desirable to segregate it from the rest of the jungle area.Unfortunately, none were present.Apart from few staffs at the restaurant and reception and 2 at security,we saw none. Also the property was open to the jungle without any fencing which meant any body can trespass and come inside.Thats just a mishap waiting to happen. And most importantly they had only 20 rooms all over and that meant very few guests even at full occupancy. Not a very safe and sound idea for a luxury stay in our opinion. The resort manager took us across the entire property, showed their spa,a jaccuzzi free to use for all resident guests, and the guest rooms as well. The property was spreadout so we took a buggy for transport. Rooms were spacious and luxurious with each individual balconies but balconies open to the wild and without any fencing,it's not quite safe at night.Plus the lighting all over the property at night was very minimal and they even told us they turn off the lights after a point to save electricity.Imagine the forest wilderness, very few staffs working, situated next to the jungle and to top it off, lights go out after midnight. And that too after you are paying 15k plus tax per day. While looking at the spa menu, one thing struck us was the 5% service charge. It is written as discretionary. After visiting all around we went to the restaurant to have some food.In the restaurant also, service charge was visible in the menu but we didn't pay any attention as it was optional. We ordered a sandwich of some kind to taste the food quality first and then order more if the first item came good.Guess what we received? Those breads 5 star hotels give in bread basket complimentary before food comes.2 of those breads and some chicken and lettuce mixed in the middle. We got 2 pieces of that in one sandwitch.Taste was not great, the lettuce was stale, chicken was also not fresh. The saving grace was the French fries served on side. They were tasty and fresh. However they were given only 6 pieces on a small bowl. When we asked for a free refill,we were denied. The server went this to discuss with the resort manager and they discussed for 5 minutes and then the manager said to tell us no
