Hotel Belair
4.5/578 Reviews
Hotel is nicely positioned close to the center within 10 minutes walk. Is very clean, as housekeeper will clean and bring clean towels twice a day. The only issues was some mold forming on one to the bathroom walls due to humidity. Just to be clear, hotel is not on the beach. You have to go down on many abrupt stairs until you reach the beach. The problem is when you come back as climbing those stairs can be somewhat tiring. If you get a taxi from the beach to hotel it costs 20 euros. I had a very nice Hugo cocktail at their bar. Next day at the pool I asked for another one. It was not even close to the one I had the night before. If you are a 5 stars hotel I recommend to keep the same around facility. Also, don’t book a regular room as they are not upgraded. Overall is a nice hotel but definitely not a 5 stars.
Hilton Sorrento Palace
4.1/5117 Reviews
I highly recommend this hotel with 10 points. The quality of cleanliness, scenery, room equipment, and staff is also 10 points excellent. There are different restaurants in the hotel for guests to choose from. There are also different breakfast styles every day, so you can choose from them. The only drawback is that the hotel is a bit far away and you may need to take a car to get there. But all in all, I highly recommend this hotel!
Hostel & Glamping Santa Fortunata
3.9/53 Reviews
We stayed for a week in the campsite with our caravan. We hadn’t booked ahead so we were grateful to find a pitch at a reasonably busy time. The staff were very helpful. The pitch was level and good size (for Italian standards). The showers were fine, clean and lots of hot water. There were toilet seats, but the paper was intermittent and the soap was not refilled regularly so it ran out. The bar was closed, but the pool was still open and it was nice for a dip on a hot day. There are strict rules about bathing caps, as is normal in Italy. We didn’t try the restaurant, but really there is no need as there is lots of choice in Sorrento. The public bus stops right outside the campsite, which is good as the shuttle bus didn’t allow our dog entry. It costs the same and runs very frequently (with no requirement to tip the driver). Santa Fortunata is a really good base to explore the local area and we would happily return. I have given 4/5 due to lack of dog friendliness, lack of toilet paper at times and bar closure.
Maison la Minervetta
4.9/578 Reviews
This is a true gem in Sorrento. My wife and I recently stayed at La Minervetta and all I can say is “WOW”! This boutique hotel surpassed my extremely high standards in every way possible. Fantastic communications, amazing presence and first impression, and truly spectacular people. The views are breathtaking, the decor is incredible, and every detail has been meticulously thought through. I would 100% recommend La Minervetta for a truly romantic and remarkable experience. I can’t wait to return.
Hotel Gardenia Sorrento
4.2/565 Reviews
Visited the Gardenia for the second time , having been here before about 8 years ago when travelling around italy with our children. My parents had visited before and highly recommended it too. This time it was just me and my wife staying. The hotel was great. Clean, quiet and relaxed which is just what we wanted. Staff are great, friendy and helpful. The pool area is lovely , never too busy and a lovely place to relax with views over the bay of Naples. Breakfast is of good quality with plenty choice. Snack bar ,by the pool, which we used was also very good and reasonably priced. All in all the Gardenia is a lovely place to stay. A little gem to be discovered if staying in Sorrento.
Grand Hotel Capodimonte
4.5/5101 Reviews
Wow ....but......so I am still here after 4 nights as I write thisthe hotel is fantastic clean comfortable and exceeds expectations.....untill you experience food and beverage ,breakfast is simple great atmosphere and has enough choice but do not expect the service that a hotel of this quality should be delivering. The food and beverage staff have no interest in customers or service. A smile to be found 😂. With regards dinners been in half board and apart from a pizza by the pool the quality is poor considering the ingredients All good is served at a poor temperature and almost inedible to be honest no one is interested in the feedback. The so-called head waiters swan about never engaging or checking satisfaction. I am appalled as a former food and beverage worker in how poor the standards are and indeed that previous feedback on TripAdvisor regards the dissatisfaction of customers in regards to the restaurants in the hotel haven't been addressed. So would I return well yes to the hotel ,location ambiance room standards and the reception team are Incredible but do yourself a favour book bed and breakfast.
