My stay at Blaauwheim Guest House was perfect - the hosts were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the time I disembarked the car on the first day. I was in Stellenbosch on a business trip and wanted accommodation that was not in hotel. I found the rooms to be spotless and beautifully decorated. Mr Johan makes the most delicious homemade breakfast which was the highlight of my day. I spent time in their lovely garden and got to know some of the garden “visitors” and their behaviour over the years. The owners are perfectionist, and I loved everything about the venue. They deserve all the stars allocated to them. Its perfect for businesspeople wanting a peaceful stay without the hassle and noise of most of the Cape Town hotels. Clivias are not for free!

The house was big and spotless! Perfect size for 4 female friends staying together. The surrounding area was quiet, peaceful and quite close to the Lourensford Market and the main mall which we had planned to go to. The interior of the house is exactly as pictured. The beds are comfortable and very modern arrangement of decor. I especially liked that books are offered in a variety of languages. We will definitely return again. Thank you!
