H4 Solothurn
"Everything was perfect: comfortable beds and a good breakfast. I'll definitely stay there again when I'm working in the area. The sauna in the evening was great."
Solothurn Youth Hostel
"The toilet was dirty and smelly, the cook was rude, and the food was more than mediocre. Furthermore, the beds were very uncomfortable and the prices were very high. The ladder to the loft bed fell off, and someone got hurt. The bread in the morning was absolutely filthy. There was feces in the elevator."
Boutique Hotel la Couronne
"Arriving is like coming home, as I have been staying at "La Couronne" regularly since 2018. The location in the old town by the cathedral is just as fantastic as the corner suite with a view of the same church. - The suite is stylishly furnished, you lack nothing. - The staff are cheerful and friendly and always approachable - The restaurant is equally pleasant inside and out, whether you are sitting on the terrace that conveys the life of the old town or looking at the stylishly designed interior of the restaurant, which is accompanied by a beautiful bar. The restaurant offers fine cuisine with fine flavors, and the wine list offers a magnificent selection of Swiss wines alongside international creations. The house is run by Ms. Claudia Vogl with a friendly manner and personal style. One of my favorite hotels, not just in Switzerland. - Solothurn is also ideally located for exploring the canton, but also the Jura with its isolation and the canton of Neuchâtel, to name just a few points. And in the evening you are back home, far away from home."
Bären Self Check-in Hotel
"Nice clean professional hotel and will back"
Hotel an der Aare Swiss Quality
"A fantastic location, great hotel and lovely staff. Special mention for Carol. Will go back in a flash to this great old building which is renovated to the highest standard. Could not find a fault."
La Couronne Atelier - Dependance
Hotel Ambassador
"This hotel is recommended by my colleague as it is just across the train station and is not difficult to locate . From the look outside the hotel , it is very pleasant and homely, this is evident from the moment I was greeted by the staff at reception . The key system is rather unique because you need to exchange your room key for a smaller set of keys that open the main door since reception is attended till 7:00 pm. The room is typical of European which is very small with a single bed if you are staying alone . Well designed and clean room that I have nothing to complain about . Breakfast was simple with limited spread but no complains as this is very typical for such European hotel. Throughout my stay , every things runs good except the very weak internet making work rather challenging ."
Hotel Roter Ochsen
"Reception and Lobby stylish and functional renovated and is a good place to read a book, relax or plan the next trip. There is a small, nice garden as well. We appreciated the rich breakfast. The only downside was the lack of blinds in our room. Check for rooms with blinds if you are light sensitive. Overall definitely a hotel we recommend."
Baseltor Hotel & Restaurant
"We had a double room design premium, and this is not the first time! It is very spacious with living and sleeping area. The facility is modern and practical: large box with depots and hanging device, hanging a narrow jacket garden in the hall and a king for small stuff, in the living room a small table for tea cookers and accessories, relatively large bathroom with enough deposit areas. The reception is always very hearty. This time we were a group of six people, but had booked our rooms couples. In the short term, we received our rooms all in the same building and at breakfast was a six-six table reserved for us. A small but fine breakfast buffet with broken bread, butter, confectionery, cheeseboard, cut, yoghurt, fruit, juices. The service never tired to bring us coffee and tea several times. Unfortunately there is no coffee machine in the room (I'm almost sure, last year there was another one). The kitchens are too flat and too soft for my needs."
