Had a good stay at this hotel. Arrived in the evening, the receptionist could’ve been a bit more friendly. Room was in a building that was recently refurbished. Nice bad. Interior was a bit heavy to digest. My room had no airconditioning, and was quite warm despite the weather being average. In summer time it will be boiling hot, as the roof was made of zinc. Breakfast was okay and that brings me to my biggest point of feedback: I would say this hotel does not really cater to international (business) travellers as English was very sparsely used on signs. As a Dutchman, I could save myself quite a bit with word recognition. But information about things could be a bit more bilingual. Especially the hotel’s information guide which was about 75% in Swedish. The surroundings of the hotel, are beautiful. The view on the Edsviken inlet, stunning.

We had a truly wonderful wedding celebration at Bergendal. The venue and surroundings were stunning, food and drink were first rate and the staff were all amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation was comfortable and breakfast varied and plentiful. Thoroughly recommend the venue and would happily return some day.

This hotel was so beautiful, it gave me the chills and I literally mean it. I stayed at Bergendal during the month of April 2022, and coming from a country like UAE, it was heaven for me. It snowed slightly, it was freezing and yet so mesmerizing. The staff was amazing, the food was excellent, it was a Bed and Breakfast place and I truly enjoyed every minute I stayed here.
