Looking for accommodation in the area yesterday. Looked at rates and availability then phoned the hotel directly as I always do. ……. So far so good! When I requested best rate I was told the hotel is closed!!!!! Why on earth does a hotel close but also offer rates etc on the internet. Would you please stop wasting my time and money. Remove your internet presence and tell the truth. Disgusting Have you informed Tourism Ireland? Or do you even care?

This was a beautiful hotel and the scenery was perfect Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. Towels and sheets cleaned every alternate day. Nice big rooms and nice to have a kettle with come teabags. Can't leave home without the tea. Food was lovely here and I would highly recommend it. Nice for great photography shots. Again we stayed there in Jan of 2019 but I can't get back that far. But on having other friends stay there it appears to be the same in the hotel and with the friendly staff.

I really enjoyed the spa it was amazing. The staff were excellent. I had a seaweed bath, stone back, foot and head massage. It was so relaxing. My 5yr old son loved the breakfast train in the morning and the kids club in the evening. It was such a great service. The pub grub was nice. The swimming pool was lovely both my 5mth old and 5yr old really enjoyed it. We went to the restaurant on one evening. They have quite a small menu choice and we were very disappointed with the steak. We could hardly chew it, it was very bad quality contained lots of fat. My husband had to send his back and he received a well done steak even though he asked for medium. It was very disappointing as we paid alot for dinner. We were told they are changing supplier. They also have the exact same menu for kids in the pub and restaurant it would be nice if it was different instead of the same thing all the time. It is a pity as the hotel and service is excellent. The restaurant is a big let down. Location is beautiful. Rosses point beach is wonderful. I had a great swim I would recommend.

Just back from this hotel, (we have been going to this hotel for at least 13 years, and sometimes three times a year, This time maybe the last, to start with booked a family room as always, expected double and two singles, NO got two doubles and a sofa bed so no where to sit ,if i wanted a sofa bed i would have went to a b&b not a 4 star Hotel, anyway put up with it, Went down for a meal at the bar, WHAT a Disaster, Duty Manageress took our order (i might add she could have been a bit more pleasant ) got starter then waited for an hour for only two of our party to receive main, so said again to same person , who then brought the wrong food, so another wait, when food finally arrived it was disgusting full of grease and half cooked chips, i did make a complaint to the duty manageress in question but everyone else got the blame for it .If your charging four star extortionate prices you expect four star, not two star standards,(by the way food used to be good here)If it wasn't for the young staff like michael and his co workers the trip would have been a total disaster. Really disappointed with our stay as it cost a lot of money .

Staff really stretched every night due to volume of guests. Only criticism is bus stop outside hotel and unwanted teens hanging around for hours waiting and making alot of mess. Great kids club my kids really enjoyed.

We had a terrible experience on a 2 night stay here recently. The room was not clean, we found rubbish shoved under the beds including a used cotton bud and a tablet. The towels in both the room and leisure centre were stained. Food service was ridiculously slow, and when it finally arrived, the order was wrong. Mouldy bread at breakfast completely turned me off. I love Rosses Point but wouldn't stay here again. The pool and changing rooms were filthy and had lime scale all over the place. Next time we visit Sligo, it'll be the Radisson we stay in, and can dine in Austies. We had a fabulous meal there in Austies on our stay. So disappointed with YCH - definitely won't be returning here.

Loved the hotel, room was great but the breakfast service was terrible. Our table was given away to someone else and was left standing with plates of food and no table this was on the first day and each morning it just got worse. It really tarnish the holiday and we actually hated going down to breakfast each morning and even considered going elsewhere for breakfast.

Hotel was in an excellent location overlooking Rosses Point. The reception staff was very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean but you can hear everything going on in the rooms around you. The evening meal in the restaurant was delicious and the staff looked after us very well. Breakfast was disappointing as it was self service and when we queued up there was nothing left in any of the hot plates. Whilst other items were replenished the eggs were not and at that stage there was a full hour of breakfast service remaining 😕

The hotel is very terrible, especially the staff of this hotel, the hotel manager Yvonne, who is essentially a very vile person, she doesn’t do her job at all, how can she even work if she’s not right in the head.
