Very good location near the old bazaar, staff very friendly and helpful, speak English, French and German. Room clean and very well equipped. Free parking. Breakfast with many local specialities. Swimming pool and SPA very amazing.

The room is average, and the configuration is quite complete, but it is too close to the mosque, and it starts to be noisy at five o'clock. The breakfast is also good

The transportation is convenient, there is a dedicated parking lot for the hotel, and the indoor environment is clean. Because of the epidemic, the breakfast is not self-service, but a special waiter service. There is a pedestrian street nearby for shopping;

The hotel room was small and very claustrophobic.There was no room on either side of the bed for a nightstand. Indeed, I had to turn sideways and move one foot at a time just to be able to get into bed. The food in the dining room was tasteless and unappetizing and it didn't help that the restaurant was filled with smokers who had no concern for the non smokers at my table (quite common throughout the Balkans, actually). The best part of my stay at this hotel was checking out.

I have read a bunch of reviews of this “5-star” resort in Skopje — but only after our recent stay there — to see whether others experienced what we did at this dreadful hotel. I was surprised to see an average score of “very good” (four out of five). But then I read the numerous “poor” and “terrible” reviews. And they were all right on the money. Yes, it’s well located. And at first blush it looks like an upscale hotel. But on closer observation — and especially once you get to your room — you realize quickly that this is an awful place to stay. We were part of a large group, spread out in rooms throughout the hotel, and EVERYONE had major complaints about their rooms. And they were all different complaints, ranging from non-working AC, non-working hotel safes, inadequate towels and linens, etc. I will stick to what we experienced first-hand, but the others’ horror stories echo many of the problems described in other reviews on this site. Our problems started when it took getting a third key card even to get into the room. And it only went downhill from there. Yes, as others have noted, they only give you one towel per person. That’s it. No hand towels, no bath mats, but just two smallish bath towels. Then there were the weird strobe lights — one in the bathroom, one in the bedroom — that could only be turned off after much experimentation with switches. And the very few, awkwardly placed electrical outlets. And the bathroom from hell. Our particular room had an ancient bathtub, dangerous to get in and out of, with only a handheld wand with which to shower — which was set so low on the wall that you had to literally hold it at all times, making it extremely hard to wash one’s hair. And of course there’s the smooth, slippery floor to face getting out of the tub. Remember: No bath mats. There’s more, but you get the idea. Our room also faced the historic mosque next door, which flooded the room with light at night. And then there was the call to prayer at 4:30 in the morning. I think I’ve said enough.

The room we had was very small, the standard room photos on the website is definitely misleading except for maybe one, then it also looked bigger than it was. Little room to set up a 2nd suitcase and that was on the floor between the table and wardrobe. The room was really designed badly. When you close the drapes, they cover the aircon unit so you have to bunch up the drapes and sit them on top to get air. There are two power points which sit above the headboard so you have to balance what you're powering on the headboard (ok for mobiles but nothing else). There is a kettle but no plug nearby so we had to use one just above the skirting in the passageway and sit the kettle on the floor. There was satchets of coffee mix and 2 green tea bags that was it. No spoons, no milk. The bathrooms heated hand rail was dripping creating a pool of water on the floor. The shower doors (which had disintegrating fittings) didn't meet therefore leaving more water everywhere after a shower leaving the floor very slippery and dangerous. There were two towels, no handtowels, no bath mat. No makeup mirror which even the small hotels have. We ended up putting our towels on the floor to mop up the water and get around without slipping. The box of tissues actually contained some folded narrow sheets resembling toilet paper. On the positive side, the location was good, our dinner was tasty however the breakfast was crowded and disorganised and with little choice. This hotel is supposed to be 5 star. I think they gave this to themselves because it was no where near that level. very tired and neglected. Would definitely not recommend.

Very friendly staff. Location is very close to fortress. Good swimming pool. That’s all good about hotel. The rest is awful: poor breakfast, dirty tables, a lot of issues in room (i.e. falling apart furniture, not working lamps). For some reason no cold water, just hot or warm. Mosque is just behind window, so get ready to be waked up in 4 in the morning by loud speakers sound. And double check what you pay for: some receptionist try to charge you for what you were not using.

The only thing that can be rated as very good is the location. Everything else is not worthy of 5 stars. The bathroom is very worn, there was no hot water - when we complained at reception we were told that you should let the water run for 10-15 minutes until the hot water came! Very "sustainable" - but it still didn't work. The taps were wobbly and you wondered every time whether they would break. The whole complex is showing its age and has lost its shine. The breakfast buffet is spartan - not a big selection. Breakfast is advertised until 10:00 a.m. - by 9:00 a.m. the buffet was already empty... What a pity. We were there during the Islamic fasting period... every day at around 5:00 a.m. there were mujezin calls from the mosque - VERY LOUD - it was impossible to sleep. Although the hotel was not full and had other rooms in the courtyard, the staff were not prepared to give us other rooms. Parking was impossible because the restaurant was given to someone else in the evening - overcrowded without anyone taking care of it. If you were in the car, you were "locked in" for an hour. It was impossible to get in or out. The restaurant was not available to hotel guests because they had other events. All in all, not recommended...unfortunately
