"The Waldrast Hotel is perfectly situated on the edge of the forest above Siusi — peaceful, convenient, and well maintained. Everything runs smoothly here: the rooms are spotless, functional, and comfortable, with balconies overlooking Suisi or the forest. The indoor–outdoor pool is a highlight, offering mountain views while you swim, and the small spa area is very pleasant. Breakfast is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A great choice for anyone looking for calm surroundings, good facilities, and excellent value in the Alpe di Siusi area."

Not only were the accommodations and shared spaces exceptional, the attention to detail and effort shown by the staff was world class. The meals were extremely memorable. "This hotel is ideal for a relaxing holiday: in addition to the very comfortable beds and the excellent, well-prepared food, the garden is an oasis of peace and tranquility. The location is also enchanting, with many of the rooms overlooking the Sciliar mountain range. The wellness area offers various options for rejuvenating after countless hikes in the area. "Just what we wanted…. A stylish unpretentious high quality hotel with attention to detail and excellent customer service. Massive compliments to the chef who prepared almost a Michelin level meals daily. Perfect location for our hiking holiday in Sieser Alm. Excellent transport links to Ortesei, Bolzano and many other places. Only wish we had had more time to relax by the pool ( we did a lot of walking). This is an Italian hotel with a lot of German speaking guests. Hotel staff speak enough English for British guests with small vocabulary of German to manage. Cannot recommend highly enough. If you do as we did and forget USB chargers they sell them near the checkout in Despar opposite!"
