We have just returned from our 7 night stay at vasia. We had a lovely holiday. Lots of positives- rooms were good, very clean hotel. Good location and good food. Would we return, possibly not due to lack of atmosphere. We have two teenagers and we found there was nothing to do in the evenings apart from the evening show at 9:30pm which lasted an hour. We found the time between evening meal and show would drag as nothing to do or we had done it all so would go for a walk. Evening shows very good and our family enjoyed the quiz which is on Mondays. I can imagine if you are staying for two weeks it would become boring as shows are on a weekly rotation. Food good but my family found it very samey . Drinks selection very poor, wine was awful so I ended up buying a bottle for €20 euros as I could no longer drink anymore of it. Overall experience good and definitely not a bad hotel by any means but just not right for our family with teenagers. Next time we would not do all inclusive so we can eat at different places and enjoy nicer drinks.

On a arrival given a refreshing drink during check in as it was gone 23:00 we was supplied with a bag with fresh fruit and rolls and given a drink at the bar Rooms have a fridge/ kettle and daily refreshed coffee tea and bottles of water These rooms are standard but are very clean and given towels bed change throughout our stay and beach towels changed every day Daughters room was a superior family room which again she was very pleased with and friends also The areas around this complex is kept very clean to a high standard All staff were very friendly polite and helpful. Man in Greek restaurant was very friendly and also went out of his way to ensure our meal was enjoyable. You get either a Greek or Italian meal free during stay Pool area again very clean pool very cold and beds do need upgrading but there was struggle to get a bed Food was excellent could not fault again staff working there were friendly and always smiling Alcoholic drinks well we was surprised to find these of a decent quality brands and full strength and a decent measure too We also went out of the complex walking enjoying the areas and went into malia in a 8 seater taxi 80 euros round trip and the man came and picked us back up the taxi again was of a high standard Hotel charged a 10 euro per day tax due to there 5 star rating think a 4 would be more suitable unless they up grade rooms and beds around pool Yes we would return but not in high season as feel it would be too busy for us shame one pool is not heated

I went to the Spa which is on the Vasia Hotel Grounds. I would honestly say the prices were more expensive then a massage I can get in London but I do have to say Anna providing great customer service and received some of the upper neck/shoulder tension. The massage is so relaxing you just want to go to sleep. Overall the staff are friendly and welcoming. You get Spa slippers to use , towel and a robe. There are showers , shampoo and shower gel which you can use in the changing room.. For a resort abroad if you want to treat yourself then go ahead. Other treatments on offer, it is best to book in advance.

Overall we were very happy with our stay here. The hotel is situated in the large village of Sissi and is a short (but steep) walk from the small harbour / rocky beach. Our room was a good size and excellent - very comfortable and immaculately clean. The food was varied and particularly good for me as a vegetarian - all dishes being clearly labelled. Plenty of meat and fish for my carnivorous husband! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with the sole exception of one rather frosty receptionist, who was just about civil but not friendly. Everybody else was lovely. Negatives - the bathroom door was louvred, which afforded no privacy. The restaurant was rather sterile and needed some sort of local touches, and some colour - it didn't feel at all Cretan. It was also very noisy. The evening entertainment was as expected - we didn't stay long! We are not pool users, but we gathered that the water was very cold, and very few people were using them. Don't forget to take bug spray etc - we were both bitten in spite of using it regularly. These are only small negatives - please don't let it put you off - you will have a very enjoyable stay here.

Cet hôtel est bien situé, les piscines sont magnifiques, le personnel est au top, le buffet est bien. Par contre, des efforts sont à faire au point de vue hygiène (chambre pas toujours hyper propre et la vaisselle du bar, c’est catastrophique). La connexion internet n’est pas excellente, bien au contraire. Mais dans l’ensemble, cet hôtel est très correct et je pourrais y retourner mais il ne mérite pas ses cinq étoiles.

Had a wonderfull holiday at Vasia Hotel. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Great entertainment and music at the Cotton bar and learnt some of the local language from Esmi the bar man. Food was also great. Sisi is a lovely town with a cute harbor. We for sure be visiting again

The good first, our room overlooking the sea was beautiful the cleaning was first class and I thought the food was lovely all the bar staff were cheerful . We chose the Greek evening you have a choice of either Greek or Italian once during your stay it was beautiful. A special mention for Adela on reception she was very helpful and handled our issue quickly and very professionally. The not so good although could be easily rectified, majority of the sun beds need replacing. The evening entertainment was not for us a quiz a fire act were the only 2 we attended. The good far outweighs the bad and 1 would definitely return if I was visiting beautiful Sissi again.

Just returned from vasia resort and. Spa after a twenty eight day stay and we had a fabulous time from all the staff from reception to gardeners all were fabulous room cleaner and manilos were excellent we also were delighted that they were able to give us a room that suited our movement disability .we never used the pools or sunbeds preferring to go to the small harbour at sissi for a swim and go for walks in the surrounding area the hotel might be classified as a Greek five star which is not compatible with some other hotels in Europe but it was still fabulous for us .and as for jet2. They advised us go to vasia sound advice.
