The Hotel is in a good location in the centre and very close to the Grote Markt. Rooms are basic but functional. No kettle or iron so bring your own if needed. My only issue was no socket near to the mirror when getting ready. Beds were clean and comfortable. There was air conditioning but couldn’t get it to work through the night. Good selection at breakfast which set you up for the day. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Good value hotel.

Kamer; personeel: niets op aan te merken Centrale ligging; mooie gezellige bar en ontbijtruimte. De opmerkingen /mindere punten die ook bij andere gasten steeds terugkeren zijn ivm lawaai op straat en ivm ontbijt (niet tijdig aanvullen; links en rechts wat andere opm.). Bij aankomst op de kamer stelden we vast dat er gerookt werd. Wij hebben voorgesteld om een andere kamer te betrekken, maar dit kon niet, wegen volgeboekt (waar we aan twijfelen). De oplossing was een spuitbus om de geur te verwijderen. Dit is enerzijds superongezond en anderzijds na 10 minuten komt de rookgeur terug. We hebben het venster op een kier gezet en bij terugkomst s'avonds laat was de geur weg. Een leeslamp was defect, en werd vervangen. S'nachts was het ondragelijk warm in de kamer, niettegenstaande de afregeling op 16 gr. Ontbijt ? Broodjes waren daags voordien afgebakken en opnieuw opgewarmd (randen waren keihard). Brood was vers. Toch wel een ontgoochelend verblijf voor mijn verjaardag. Dit spijts onze goeie ervaringen in andere Ibis - hotels.

Prima hotel. Alles ok. Het enige wat me stoorde was de geur in de lobby. Niet heel slecht maar voor mij onaangenaam. Misschien investeren in geur? Liefst geen artificiële.
