Ein Hotel am Rande der Stadt, welches diesen Manco mit super Service, guten Zimmern und noch viel wichtiger, mit traumhaften Personal ausgleicht. Ich liebe Leberwurst und als ich am ersten Tag nachfragte, da es keine gab, organisieren sie für die nächsten Tage immer Leberwurst für mich! Wenn jemand Service und Freundlichkeit im Hotel erleben möchte, dann hier! Besser als viele 5* Häuser! Danke für 5 tolle Tage

We loved the double room with Munot view. The room has comfortable beds, for me the pillow was too low/soft and a minibar / fridge is missing. The breakfast was amazing and you can boil your own egg, although it takes longer as water is not boiling, so calculate 10-11 minutes. Located at the edge of the old town you can easily walk everywhere. This also means that you are in the middle of people drinking and shouting in front of the hotel, but we dis not mind. The Spa is great and a place to relax, you get bathrobes at the reception. All in all a great stay

This is a very modern and stylish hotel, extremely convenient for the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) and the historic city centre. Despite its proximity to the centre, it’s actually in quite a quiet location. The bedrooms are well insulated for sound, so we heard very little noise from the station or outside generally. The hotel overall, including the rooms, are decorated and furnished in a contemporary, “corporate” style, which some may find lacks charm. But the lobby, bar and restaurant are smartly decorated with good quality materials and artistic touches. The room was functional but very clean, efficient and comfortable. We stayed for a few nights and felt the hotel was welcoming and safe. I would give the restaurant 4 out of 5. It provided a very good, typically Swiss buffet breakfast and a pleasant pasta meal on our first evening. It was very quiet and we enjoyed friendly, personal service. However, on another evening, the Caesar salad was underwhelming. Our server was kept very busy as the restaurant was very full and there was, let’s say, a misunderstanding, about our wine order, which resulted in us paying quite a bit more than we expected. The city centre is very historic, interesting and attractive to wander around. There’s plenty of choice of restaurants and cafes. From the main station you can reach the Rheinfalls via two alternative local stations - Schloss Laufen and Neuhausen Rheinfall. You can also take a train along the Rhine valley to places like Stein am Rhein and lake Konstanz, or get to Zurich quite easily.

A Retro Gem with Modern Comfort: A Stellar Stay at Sorell Hotel Rueden I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel, and I must say, it was a very nice experience. This charming establishment, which has recently undergone an impressive renovation, seamlessly blends retro aesthetics with modern comforts. The result is a delightful ambiance that transports you back in time while providing all the amenities you could need. The warm and friendly reception staff insuring a smooth and hassle-free check-in process and some advice for town orientation. The room was comfortable, well equipped, and with a view of the city from the window. The breakfast was very nice. the location is in the heart of the old town.

Freundliches Personal, grosszügige, moderne, zweckmässige Zimmer, bequeme Betten. Fenster in unserem Zimmer zum Parkplatz hin, Sichtschutz durch dünne und dicke Vorhänge gewährleistet 😉. Vielfältiges, leckeres Frühstücksbüffet. Überall blitzsauber. Ausser Kirchglocken am Wochenende kaum Geräusche. Sehr angenehm und erholsam!

The hotel was very friendly and helpful, although the reservation of Trip.com was not deposited in the hotel. The breakfast room is structureally optimized. There are too many unnecessary ways and steps required by the staff. However, the staff is very endeavoured and engaged in ”building out” the missing or wrong structure.

We were checking in late at night and the receptionist was disgustingly disrespectful. He treated us as if we wanted something impossible even though we had already booked the rooms before hand. He was rude and the rooms didn't hat fresh Towels. Woulnd not recommended under any circumstance
