Located in Jewel Changi Airport. Our room is small but clean and quite surrounding. The room is perfect for getting a good sleep while in transit. Not able to take a photo of the room but it is near to Jewel Changi Rain Vortex.

Nestled in greenery, providing ample opportunity to soak in nature and relax. What we like about it is the quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Went on some walks. Perfect place in Singapore for a quiet and restful retreat.

Good location, lots of places to eat plus walking distance to bus stop towards the city and Kembangan MRT station. About 2 or 3 front desk service staff are welcoming and polite, both check-in and check-out is fast but there is just 1 lift and 1 staircase to go up and down. Room is ok for me, the aircon is cold and the lights are working fine except for the safe box in my room which was spolit in the last day of check-out and luckily it was solved by housekeeping uncle (hope the safe box would be back to normal). Toilet is a bit small, but the bed is ok yet firm, even though there are a couple of ants both on the table and outside of the safe box but that don't bothered me. Bathtub is ok but the floor might be slippery so better be careful, towels are replenished, the mini fridge is ok, TV can watch just Mediacorp shows and power plug are working properly. Overall it is a good budget hotel if you are not that fussy, so who knows I may come back to book this hotel again.

This is a hotel where there is no blanket folded into the bed. It's just (clean) bedsheets. If you want a blanket, it's in the form of a quilt cover in the closet. The TV set picture quality is barely watchable. It's like they don't expect most guests to actually stay overnight. There are 3 rolls of toilet paper provided. If you go on weekends, especially, you'll see a high demand from South Asian foreign workers for short duration stays. Add up the above - get the picture ?

Unexpected small but it’s already the best choice in the price range. Room and bathroom is clean and the water pressure is strong enough. Easy access to bus stop, convenience stores and all restaurants are nearby and open long hours. This Geylang area is red light district, female solo trip is advised to not walk alone at late night.

Stayed here many times and always came back here when I come to Singapore. Room is small, but since I’m staying alone, it’s perfectly fine and just the right size for me. Location is not the center of Singapore, but it’s right above the MRT stations. So many food stalls right beside the hotel. Only one stop to bugis, and only 5 stops to Orchard (with transfer at City Hall). I prefer this hotel than any hotels near city but far from MRT station. It’s clean. The staffs are helpful and friendly enough. Always my choice to stay when I visit Singapore.

Room is basic but clean. Location is great with many eateries nearby and for those who drives, hotel has complimentary car park which is great.

To be honest it was the best hotel we stayed in. The staff was so considerate and kind. They even asked if we are celebrating any occasion and try their best to make it special . We were unsure about our next trip to Singapore but because of kind people and marina bay sands we wanna come again. The service and the staff is spectacular .

Cons: - The whole hotel is undergoing renovation with hoardings/ tarpaulins around, had to walk over to another block via a transfer floor (also under renovation) and change lifts - Main pool and gym seems not accessible due to renovation works - Check-in took quite long to queue, even with all 4 counters in service, still by traditional pen-paper handling with requirement of deposit. Also noted some mass group room booking/ check-in probably by tours/ agents which largely took up reception’s capacity - Sound insulation is quite a problem. There was no seal under room entrance door (could see corridor light seeping through the bottom gap), and under separation door with adjacent room, could hear from neighbours quite clearly - Middle floor’s view of our room is limited to the podium pool (undergoing works), opposite hotel black and back lane of Funan mall. Reckon higher floors would have much better views - Windows of room are quite dirty from outside which affected the view. Single-glazing only, could hear city noises from time to time Pros: - Very convenient location at city centre right next to big Funan mall with direct connection to MRT and loads of food choice; right opposite to old fire station, Fort Canning Park, cathedral, etc; walkable to most city centre spots - Considerably spacious room in heart of city, which was recently refurnished with simple and modern touch - Clean interior, but with some touch-up on damaged toilet wall tiles. Some tiles seems to be replaced but with slight color variance with the remaining ones - Hot water with more than enough water pressure - Comfy beds and linens

As per record, we have booked a connected room with River View for 1 double bed & 2 single beds for 3 nights. Upon arrival at the checked in counter, the staff by the name of Maria straight away offered us an upgrade of the connected room for the 2nd & 3rd night at the upper floor with a better view. But 1st night we have to stay at lower flr in a big room with 1 double bed & 2 single bed. We said OK and she checked us into Room 206. When we got to the room, we rest for a bit before we really check out the room. But my son was complaining about the room. Being the room are like an extended room for the room flr are build by wood and noisy when u walk. No centralised aircond but a split unit aircon which is not cold. Mattress are hard as if it's already more than 10years old. This room gave us a feeling as if we are some illegal immigrant. We went back to Trip.com to check the review and we found few customers are having the same experience. I've screenshot 1 of them and attached as photo. We went down to complaint & demanded change room to the room we booked in advance. And it's not our problem that they over sold their rooms & neglected customers who booked & pay in advance. Till the end, we get the room we booked but Maria claimed its VIP room which this room fits the description of the room we book. On the day we chevked out, Maria was on duty. Very bad attitude. No eye contact, no greetings, no thank you. She don't deserve to be assigned at the front desk.
