Hotels Near Mosque St in Singapore

I stayed here in early December 2022 for a few nights. In general, this hostel is very conveniently located. It is only 4-minute walk from the Downtown Line MRT station. It is the same station that has the closest ATMs. The hostel requires you to pay your balance using cash. If you want to pay by card, there is an additional 3% charge and you'd have to walk to their sister hostel to use their card machine. The sister site is on another street but they claim it's just a 5-minute walk. Also, if you want to print anything or use a microwave, you'd have to walk across the street to the Chic Hostel to do so since this one doesn't have it. There is a fridge but no microwave. The good thing is that they do your laundry, within the same day if you tell them to, for $12. The dorms on the 4th floor did not have a lock on the door so it didn't feel secure from anyone else who may decide to wonder up there. They did have a key card for the individual lockers though. There's only one outlet by your bed so I'd recommend getting an adapter with multiple USB ports or something. The 4th and 3rd floors share a 2-stall shower and toilet combo which was a tight squeeze and a bit moldy, which probably cannot be helped with such humid climates. Only bodywash was available in the showers. Each toilet come with its own handheld bidet. I just wished that the restrooms had paper towels to dry your hands. I did like that each bed had its own TV with Netflix and headphones (even though I never used it). The A/C runs all night which is great. I also liked that eac bed has their owne privacy curtains as well as their own drying rack and clothes hangers.

A compact size hotel with excellent location, just across the street from the underground train station for Blue line with underground connection to Purple line. Although I did not appreciate the springy bed, it was actually adequate and not bad. The room is a bit on the smaller size, but amenities are standard and you get what you pay for, besides the location can't be beaten for the city of Singapore. I recommend it for people who want a convenient location, especially for food and restaurant lovers.

The location is totally perfect (MRT DT19 Exit E), the room is quite small but clean. We can leave our luggages there. If you come with the children that they allow to join the room, please make sure you can share the 5 feet bed. We will be stay there in the third time for sure. The mall is opposite the hotel (I cant remember name) has everything you wanna buy and superstore located on B1. The location is totally perfect (MRT DT19 Exit E), the room is quite small but clean. This accomodation does not meet the minimum standards, if your after a culture shock this is for you My partner booked the accommodation the place is an absolute dive on arrival the previous guests towels were still in the bathroom, the shower head was broken. Eventually we were moved to another room. 1. the entire complex smells of moisture 2. bed mattress uncomfortable has exceeded lifespan. 3. Bed sheets seams split, fabric thin and faded. 4. Pillows flat no durability. 5. the photos supplied are exaggerated eg the paint was peeling, floors filthy - decorative pillows not present these photos do not represent the current condition. 6. Iron cord unsafe electrical wiring exposed tied into knots and taped up- unsafe. After enduring 2 nights we left early for our next destination. After reviewing other travellers comments the owner has failed to address any complaints is met with the standard response ”Your feedback is important to us and we are working on it” Travellers do not receive value for money, overcharged for what is best described as hostel conditions at minimum.

Where to start. The hostel is close to a several of exits for Chinatown MRT station. Cheap eats are everywhere in Chinatown so you will be spoilt for choice. Check out the money changers at People's Park for good exchange rates if you have cash. The junction of South Bridge Road and Upper Cross Street is within walking distance of Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay, the Barrage, the CBD, Bugis, City Hall. There is a self service laundrette down the street which includes detergent, and is fairly cheap for a wash and tumble dry load. And if you hanker for fresh fruit, check out the produce market in the Hong Lim Complex. The nitty gritty: the hostel is cheap, but no palace. Whilst the room and corridor floors are washed everyday, the same cannot be said of the showers and toilets - the grime and mould on the walls is beyond belief; good luck anyone who doesn't wear something on their feet when using the facilities. Rooms are airless and musty, having no ventilation even if they have windows which are sealed, and have a sweaty atmosphere of their own. AirCon only lowers the temperature of the rooms, and does nothing to circulate fresh air. Mattresses have seen better days and dip in the middle where countless bodies have slept on them over time. The same can be said of the pillows. The website photos paint the hostel in a deceptively clean and bright light, unfortunately the view from the open air eating area now looks onto a very large building sight, which even by SG standards must have been underway for at least 12 to 18 months. I guess you get what you pay for, but having travels to SG for decades, this hostel was reminiscent of Bencoolen Street in its heyday. The only saving grace is likely to be the people you meet whilst staying there.

great place to stay as it is conveniently located right beside an MRT station. There's a convenient store and money exchange right outside the hotel as well. staff are very accomodating. the rooms are smaller than i expected but it was fine.

Great location with views of Marina lagoon. Many malls and shopping centers in the range of 1Km. The breakfasts offered by the hotel is fantastic and the settings of the dinning hall. The online Grab taxi App is recommended to make the visiting much easier.

Im a regular hotel hopper, i always come back to St signature Jalan Besar. Hassle free check in, the staffs are friendly and accommodative. Love the concept of the modern loft rooms. Although its a small space room, Its very cosy and comfortable. Very clean too can see that it is well maintained. Would definitely recommend to travellers who are on budget, it is a good stay. They also have smart tv in rooms so we can enjoy netflix and a mini air purifier!!

Room is basic but clean. Location is great with many eateries nearby and for those who drives, hotel has complimentary car park which is great.

Stayed here many times and always came back here when I come to Singapore. Room is small, but since I’m staying alone, it’s perfectly fine and just the right size for me. Location is not the center of Singapore, but it’s right above the MRT stations. So many food stalls right beside the hotel. Only one stop to bugis, and only 5 stops to Orchard (with transfer at City Hall). I prefer this hotel than any hotels near city but far from MRT station. It’s clean. The staffs are helpful and friendly enough. Always my choice to stay when I visit Singapore.
