Very good service the receptionist is very friendly and accommodate to my room request full fulfilling my needs. Environment is nice and convenient and my room view is nice facing the airport runway. The receptionist also accommodate to my late checkout request really appreciate it. Thanks so much for the memorable experience at crowne plaza changi airport and hope to come again.

The trip began with a thoughtful phone call from the resort to remind me about my booking for the day, which I appreciated as it made me feel well-prepared. However, I was informed during the call that parking was chargeable, which slightly dampened the mood, especially considering the overall cost of the stay. Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth, and the receptionist, Kelvin, was both welcoming and accommodating. He provided excellent service and made us feel at ease right from the start. Our first impression of the room was positive—the interior was clean and well-maintained, though I did notice that the exterior required some attention. There were stains visible on the bus, which gave the impression that it hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained recently. The room's amenities were well stocked, and we were particularly impressed by the high-quality products from Ink & Water, which added a nice touch to our stay. One slight issue we encountered was that the room we were allocated had some plants blocking the view from the bus driver’s seat. This made it difficult for us to take clear pictures of our kids in the driver's seat, which was a bit of a disappointment. The minibar in the room, however, was lacking refreshments, which was a bit of a letdown. It would have been nice to have some basic drinks or snacks available for convenience. The Wi-Fi connection in the room was unfortunately unreliable, which left our kids disappointed as they were looking forward to some online entertainment. However, Kelvin was very understanding and offered a kind gesture by providing an alternative solution to make up for the inconvenience, which we greatly appreciated. It’s small acts like these that can make a big difference in the overall experience. The BBQ area had a grill available, but unfortunately, the grill mesh was not cleaned, so we had to prepare our own grill wire mesh. The seating area was well-lit, although the lighting was spoiled on the first night. We reported this issue to Kelvin, and while we were informed that it couldn’t be swapped out, he offered a lamp if necessary. On the second night, after further feedback, the staff were kind enough to help resolve the issue, ensuring we had proper lighting for our BBQ. The room’s air-conditioning worked well and kept us comfortable throughout the stay. All the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring that we had a restful night. Breakfast offered a variety of options, including Western, Malay, Indian, Chinese, and Vegan sets. While the taste was passable, it was convenient to have such a diverse selection to choose from. Check-out was scheduled for 11 am, with no flexibility in timing, despite it being a Sunday. We were informed that the resort would be packed, which is understandable, though it would have been nice to have a bit of leniency in case we needed more time. The main reason for a later check-out was that our kids were napping, and a little extra time would have been appreciated to avoid rushing. As there were no staff operating after 6 pm, we were provided with a number to call in case of an emergency. However, during office hours, there was no number available to call, and we had to walk over to the office if any issues arose. This could be an area for improvement to make communication more accessible. The resort offers two exits: one leading directly to the beach and the other towards the Changi Village Hawker Centre. Both options were convenient for exploring the area, and we appreciated the accessibility of both.

Reception was really nice and took the time to kindly explain all the available amenities and timings. Also noticed that it was my birthday and kindly prepared and sent a cake to the room. The room itself was really clean. Just slight small stains on the bedsheet, no bidet, and the bathtub was so small and slightly hard to get in/out of. The club experience was pretty decent. Good and unique spread of food available (rojak) along with an array of drinks. The breakfast cafe the next day was a mess. Buffet spread but with too few servers. There were no clean tables around and 8/9 cups taken were stained or unwashed. Noticed that there were alot of exchange students and foreigners so could have been a peak period with not enough staff. Breakfast itself was average. The youtiao was so hard, soymilk with no flavor, egg station server broke my sunny sideup yolk. But the fried rice was pretty decent, loved the creamy spinach and tater tots were very crispy! Overall, would not come again unfortunately. Experience as a whole was disappointing for a 4* hotel. Only kudos was to the receptionist and the club lounge staff.

The room was fantastic, impeccably clean and better than what I could have expected. As business hotels suites go, this one was quite nice. The matress was super comfortable, nearly close to laying on clouds. Regrettably, the fan in the bathroom is on at an uncomfortably loud noise, even with doors closed. Despite being drained after a long flight, I could barely catch any sleep even with earplugs on. The pool is okay, if you are the only one using it, as it's so narrow that it merely allows for two people swimming side by side. Didnt have a chance to try out the gym, but looked decent. As for breakfast, I felt it just average and lacking some flavor. The coffee was so dreadful I resorted to adding milk to my double espresso, just to be able to finish it. A shame about the vent thing in the bathroom, I hope they solve it soon. It was better and cheaper than staying at a capsule hotel in Changi, so there's that.

Happy staycay in Dorsett Changi with my friend! Both of us like the spacious room with small kitchen that convenient for us to prep food to eat. Very clean and spacious toilet too! Price is reasonable also! Will rebook again for our next staycay!!!

1. High cost performance. More than 600 is very cost-effective in Singapore. The room is clean and odorless. I booked 2 rooms and was generally satisfied. 2. The location is on Joo Chiat Road, suitable for city walk to the East Coast. People are relatively friendly. 3. The service is quite satisfactory. Singapore does not clean every day. You can ask the front desk. Especially the healing smile and greeting of the front desk lady every day are very touching. 4. There was a problem with the room on the first day of check-in. Communication solved it. If you are willing to communicate, it is not a problem. Overall satisfied.

LOVED this hotel. We stayed in Singapore this time around to attend parkrun and this hotel is just a 10 minute walk to eastcoast park. Great 24 eateries close by too as well as your usual bars and convenience stores. The rooms were very comfortable; the view was insanely beautiful and the breakfast was EVERYTHING you wanted or needed. Asian/western and everything in between. I'll definitely stay here again when I come back to Singapore. Self service laundrette on site also (with ironing boards) as well as a gym.

Our family had a very wonderful time staying at Grand Mercure East booked 2 rooms from 29th Jan to 31st Jan I would like to thank Ms Sham from Sales dept for arranging an Elderly Friendly room for my 96 year old mother. As for myself, I, too, enjoyed the room assigned by the front desk staff, John . We also enjoyed the Cafe food served on the 1st floor. Ms. JULIET, the staff from this cafe was very professional putting her *SWEET SMILE * all day long and she patiently walked us through the menu and highly recommended us the Chef speciality dishes . Most important was my mum enjoyed the dish Hai Cheong Kai which was Highly recommendedby Ms Juliet...The hotel location is fantastic ,many local food eateries, a Mall is just 5 mins across the hotel. In addition, the Train station is just 5 mins walk directly opposite this hotel* Superb convenient for overseas visitors arrival at Changi airport to this hotel* Juliet keeps up your *Fantastic Good Service *. You made Grand Mercure Hotel proud as your service is SUPERB GOOD .*Juliet deserves a promotion* .. We definitely will recommend friends to stay at Grand Mercure hotel. It was a good stay! Front desk was friendly and agreed to provide extra pillows Room was spacious and hotel facilities like the gym and pool were just nice for a short stay. There are some signs of wear on furnishings but nothing too bad. Bed was clean and comfortable, pillows are supportive. Breakfast was quite delicious too, even had some Japanese options like soba and tamagoyaki.

Bathroom had mold. Cleaning is done every 2 days and towels are not offered to changed. Restaurant food wasn't that great. Aside that great location. Excellent service at front desk.
