This booking was a fraud and I will post daily on trip.com telegram. Trip.com said they will help me with the bank dispute but instead disputed against this. The hotel was booked under Agoda.com when I checked with the hotel and not trip.com.
The hotel is simply not helpful too. I tried to tell them I did not stay at all because I was not even informed and they simply asked me to check with Agoda and refused to offer a replacement stay. Just to highlight my wife is in hospital for 3 weeks now and I am having to work through all of this.
A simple online search shows trip.com had been sued successfully twice in China. I am considering legal means too.

Good Location but poor condition
Pros: good location
Cons: poor condition. The room didn't even look like the photos. Bathroom hook was loose. Shower door loose and leaking water cause it couldn't close properly. After the shower ... used the hair dryer.. it sounded loose inside and started smelling smoking and had to go down and speak to staff about all the issue the staff didn't offer a room change even though i requested.

Novotel Living Orchard Singapore is the perfect mix of comfort and convenience. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean and have everything you need. The location on Orchard Road couldn’t be better with easy access to all the shopping, dining, and attractions. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help with a smile. Huge thanks to Rehaan, who was so lovely and helpful, and made our stay even better with his assistance in planning our trips. Highly recommend this place for both short visits and longer stays!

Extremely close to orchard road, very good amenities, clean staff, good homey vibe. we stayed for 3 weeks and just felt like home. Their bathroom shower head could be a bit higher but apart from that, not a single complaint during our stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, it had a massive kitchen and laundry was good too with 3 TVs.
