I can't call this place cozy, just like the city of Sihanoukville itself. Perhaps the hotel (or rather apartments, due to the complete lack of service) is quite consistent with the ghost town itself.
Having looked at the pictures on the site, I imagined that I would check into a spacious room, but it turned out to be a small box of 4x4 meters, with a separate bathroom. However, I can't say that this was not enough for a single traveler. Having received the keys, you find yourself at your own disposal, no one else is interested in your life, there are no breakfasts, you can drop the keys off when leaving. During the entire time, I did not see a single other resident, apparently our paths somehow diverged.
You need to take a tuku-tuk to the beaches, there is practically no other way, however, if you want to visit the beach at the top of the city (Wat Leu Pagoda), then the location is only a plus - but look around, and beware of stray dogs. The nearest 7-Eleven is about 15 minutes' walk away, and the city's main market is also there. There is a supermarket nearby where you can buy souvenirs. However, if your goal is a beach holiday, then forget about this place. Fortunately, my goal was to take pictures of this unfortunate city and quickly leave for Bangkok.
The mattresses are cheap - synthetic and soft, it is uncomfortable to sleep on them, definitely the worst sleeping place during my entire stay in Cambodia.
On the plus side - a normal shower with a running water heater, and the coolest wi-fi in the country. There is also a laundry room on the top floor (supposedly free, I haven't checked), and an excellent observation deck over the city and the surrounding slums.
I can't definitely recommend this place. It is gloomy, uncomfortable and cramped. If you want to finish off your impressions of the semi-slum city of Sihanoukville with new impressions, then settle here. Especially if the cost of living is decisive for you. But sometimes it’s better to overpay and settle somewhere closer to the sea.
