Unfortunately we only had one night there due to a flight change, but we loved every minute! The staff is super accommodating, the room (pool villa) was great, the food was good and the hotel itself is located in a tropical garden, so you immediately feel like you're on vacation! And both Siem Reap and the temple complexes (Angkor Wat, etc) are easy to reach. We would come back at any time, definitely longer next time!

Booked this hotel only for two nights 6-8 Jan. My past experience during my earlier travels in some cases was bad in the sense the hotel description and photographs were not factual. I reached the Angkor land Urban Botuque on 6 Jan afternoon to check in. First look at the Hotel building told me I have made the right choice. The most happening place in Siem Reap the Pub Street was about a km away. The hotel surrounding were very clean with a wide road in front and a big parking space in front. As soon as I entered the huge lobby with teak wood interiors I was greeted by the the hotel staff team. Check in took just a couple of minutes. Meanwhile the Manager of the hotel Mr. Eng Sona came and met me too which was a nice feeling. He said he is giving me a very good room on the fourth floor and if I did not mind he would shift me to a still better room the very next day which was then occupied. The room was very big and very comfortable. Had all the amenities. The next day the Manager showed me the other room on the third floor. I agreed to shift. This room too was large, the bathroom had a bath tub and in addition a separate glass bath enclosure too. It had a balcony too overlooking the swimming pool. The pool was excellent. Breakfast menu was also very good. The hotel arranged my tours too. Tuk Tuk and the motorcycle buggy called the Remork was always available just outside the hotel.. After this most wonderful experience in the first two days I extended my stay further for the remaining days too from 8- 11 Jan 24. The Manager Mr.Sona met me regularly to enquire if I was comfortable and whether I needed anything. His team of young boys and girls too were very responsive and greeted the guests everytime. I did not find any flaw or anything to complain about during my entire stay. I had the the most memorable experience in Angkor Land Urban Boutique thanks to Mr. Sona the Manager and his team.

They don't check you in before 14:00 (this is not a complaint, this is a fact that may be useful to other guests who will be planning their trip).
I was waiting for a room from 10:30 to 14:00. You can leave your things in the lobby, they offer to spend time by the pool, which is nice, they treat you to a welcome drink, the staff is attentive and caring.
After a 10-hour drive from Thailand, I really wanted to take a hot shower.
Having checked into the room, I discovered that all the plumbing was broken. At the reception, they refused to change the room - a repairman came and fixed everything in 30 minutes. I asked him where the hot water was? We waited 20 minutes for someone to come and explain its absence. It turned out that there was no hot water in this room! They offered another room until tomorrow, and tomorrow they will check us into the main one.
In a temporary room with hot water it was 5+++. The chair is very dirty, with stains, with someone's hair.
The next day they offered to move to a family room on the 1st floor, hot water was temporarily lost, the furniture was clean.
There were no robes in any of the rooms, slippers were found in the 1st room.
For those who care - TV and phones do not work.
Breakfast is a small buffet + they cook eggs at will and soup of your choice. (Khmer cuisine). For me, everything was delicious, I think this is a good introduction to the local cuisine.
The staff is extremely friendly, the hall is very beautiful, the pool is pleasant, but the condition of the rooms spoils everything.

My first time in Cambodia so I was truly unsure about the quality of the accommodation, but honestly I think the quality of the service and smile is the one of the best I ever experienced. All staff at hotel Koulen central were absolutely fantastic and made enormous efforts to make our stay enjoyable. They even surprised with a cake for my birthday. The rooms are big with very modern and beautiful design. Had fantastic sleep as well. They even pack our breakfast when we were going for the Angkor wat tour at 4:20AM. Especially I would love to thank you Ly Chneang and Ching Ching for making sure we have everything we need during our stay.

Excellent hostel that I highly recommend. The beds in the dorms are very big and comfortable. The amenities are super nice and the staff was very service minded. A sidenote is that they couldnt provide bikes when I stayed there but it doesnt really matter since there are a lot of places nearby where bikes can be rented.
Absolutely stunning property, this place really is incredible and could not fault it from the service through to the rooms we were thoroughly impressed. In our opinion itβs a 10/10 property. The staff can not do enough to help you, the rooms were spotless and well equipped and furnished - and not to mention huge! Breakfast is brilliant, the pool is great and location wise we really enjoyed. Would definitely stay again if in the area - thank you !

While staying at Metta residence my Husband enjoyed a nine night stay. The breakfast buffet was consistent each morning and lucky served us each day with a smile and fresh hot coffee. The rooms were clean daily and very spacious. The front desk was always hopeful. It was a bit moist at times. Tuk Tuk driver called Kimsun was extremely helpful and very generous, many evenings, he drove us around without asking for anything extra, which gave us a reason to provide him with a great tip. I do recommend this hotel for couples and families. The pool is beautiful and is in the sun until about 4 PM daily.

This is a walk-on-go trip, and this Mane Harihalaya is the most wonderful part of this trip! First of all, the smile in the lobby is the friendly smile. The welcome is a cold and cool flavored drink and fresh fruit plate. You can have an extra bed according to your needs. The service is very good. The pool is clean and comfortable. In addition to swimming, Mochi, very very clean! In addition, it is worth a great deal of food in the hotel restaurant. It is simply color and smell to the point of breaking the table. Thank you to the hotel lobby and restaurant manager for a very happy trip to Angkor! Next time still choose Mane Harihalaya ππ

GGuest UserSala Lodges in the enchanting city of Siem Reap is nothing short of a hidden gem that boasts not only of charming aesthetics but also of exceptional service that made our stay unforgettable. Nestled quietly away, this hotel provided a tranquil retreat that was much needed during our travel.
The service at Sala Lodges was commendable, embodying the true spirit of hospitality. The staff were attentive, approachable, and consistently willing to assist us in organizing our trips around Siem Reap, making the overall experience hassle-free and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the Swiss owners who were genuinely amiable and made us feel warmly welcomed.
As for the accommodations, the rooms in Sala Lodges were a delightful surprise. Each room bore discrete charm with its tasteful decoration, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary elements. The authentic Khmer old houses are full of charm, yet modern and well preserved.
The hotelβs kitchen offered a menu that might seem simple at a glance but was satisfyingly delightful upon tasting. Every dish we tried was prepared well, with fresh ingredients and flavors that are comforting yet exciting to the palate. The breakfast, in particular, deserves an extra note of praise for being consistently good, providing a delightful start to our days of exploration.
Adding to the hotelβs allure was the inviting swimming pool, serving as a refreshing sanctuary after a day of touring the magical temples and vibrant markets of Siem Reap. During the wet season, the atmosphere around Sala Lodges was even more calming and soothing, with the soft sound of rain providing a comforting backdrop to our stay.
To sum it up, our experience at Sala Lodges was nothing short of magical. From the excellent service to the beautifully appointed rooms and delightful meals, every aspect of the hotel contributed to a stay that was serene, comfortable, and absolutely enjoyable. Whether youβre traveling in the wet season or not, Sala Lodges offers a cosy retreat that will surely enhance your Siem Reap adventure. Highly recommended!
Eeruin347I rarely take time to write detailed reviews but I wanted to share my truly unforgettable experience at The Royal Family Suite by Memoire Palace Resort & Spa.
Nestled amidst the vibrant city, the hotel stands out as the epitome of luxury and hospitality. Impeccable service (a special thank you to the manager, John), exquisite, carefully thought out design (you can literally swim from your balcony), and outstanding amenities, I genuinely believe Memoire Palace Resort & Spa has established itself as the premier destination for travelers seeking an unforgettable experience in Siem Reap.
Some of my favorite parts about the hotel and experience in general were:
Interior & Exterior Architecture: A harmonious blend of traditional Khmer influences and contemporary elegance creates a truly breathtaking atmosphere. The attention to detail in the interior design, with its lavish furnishings, excellent choice of lighting, and unique artistic touches, elevates the overall experience to new heights. The room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and equipped with state-of-the-art amenities. The plush bedding, tranquil ambiance, and panoramic views create an oasis of relaxation.
The Exceptional Service: One of the standout features of Memoire Palace Resort & Spa is its commitment to providing exceptional service to its guests and the environment. The staff members are attentive, courteous and go above and beyond to meet every guest's needs. The manager even made an effort to visit me at the gym as he could not greet me at the reception. The hotel's staff is truly dedicated to creating a seamless and memorable stay for each visitor. In addition, the commitment to a plastic-free experience was impressive - there was literally none in all the facilities. They should be commended.
Culinary Options: Memoire Palace Resort & Spa boasts an impressive array of dining options, each offering a unique culinary experience. From traditional Khmer delicacies to international flavors. The Stage 1960 had an impressive menu with imported meats I doubt can be found elsewhere; breakfast every morning was beautiful with the freshest local ingredients to create innovative dishes; even the room service, typically an afterthought, was thoughtful with something for everyone.
Location: The Royal Family Suite by Memoire Palace Resort & Spa is ideally located. The hotel is a stone's throw away from the magnificent Angkor Wat, allowing guests to easily explore the UNESCO World Heritage site. Additionally, it's only a 2-minute ride to the bustling Old Market and the vibrant Pub Street, providing convenient access to local markets, shops, and lively nightlife. Tuk-tuk drivers are on standby outside the hotel so there is no wait
In summary, Memoire Palace Resort & Spa is a beacon of luxury, hospitality, and elegance in Siem Reap. I have yet to find a flaw! Whether you are a business traveler, family, or here for a honeymoon - I highly recommend choosing this resort when booking your accommodation in Siem Reap!
GGuest UserMy first time to experience such a world class treatment from all the staff. I was picked up from the airport and offered me a cold towel and a cold drink. When i arrived at the hotel, i was greeted with a welcoming drink and another cold towel. The buffet breakfast were so superb. Every time i sat at the table, they would again gave me a cold towel. (Seriously, this hotel has tons of cold towels π). Every time i went to the pool, there was a hot tea and an unlimited banana chips being served immediately. My room was insanely beautiful. I was welcome with a personalised note in my bed, great view of the balcony and very chic bath tub. The room's interior design is also to die-for. π To the staff, thank you guys for being so friendly, approachable and professional. Special mentions to the Supervisor who always greets me with a welcoming smile whenever he sees me (sorry i forgot your name sir). To Ms Chet, who gave me a tour. To the guy who gave me a scarf upon checkout( sorry i also forgot your name, too. βΉοΈ). To Mr. Myr whose very approachable. To the girl who helped me take my pictures in the pool (sorry i forgot your name too) and to my driver Mr Moe. Thank you guys for making my stay a memorable one. Just a little thing to add, Iβm just not used about the cleaning protocol. I was startled and woke up many times by the hotel cleaning staff by automatically opening my door and asked me if i want to clean the room even though i did not put a signage in front of my door or informing somebody. However, those are just small matter than can be fixed. Truthfully, i donβt have anything bad to say about this hotel. I donβt mind staying here for a long time. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
AAnonymous UserAnansaya La Maison, located conveniently near Angkor Wat, offered a well-rounded experience. Negotiable scooter rentals provided by the hotel significantly enhanced our exploration flexibility. The standout feature was undoubtedly the complimentary massage, which was superbly relaxing.
The hotel welcomed us with a free airport transfer, an appreciated gesture. However, a subsequent airport transfer incurred a $40 charge, which felt disproportionately high for the short distance involved and the current fuel prices in Cambodia.
The maintenance of the hotel was exemplary, demonstrating the staff's dedication to providing a clean and welcoming environment. Our room faced the wall of an adjacent building, which, while not ideal, was a minor inconvenience as we spent most of our time out exploring.
Breakfast options were basic but were partly made up for by the inclusion of delicious exotic fruits. A particularly convenient amenity was the complimentary laundry service, which we found very useful.
A delightful addition to our stay was the daily offering of a complimentary non-alcoholic drink and a small snack by the pool, making our time there even more enjoyable.
We chose to dine outside the hotel every evening, a decision we did not regret. The local dining scene offered a plethora of fresh and healthy options (checkout the vegetarian restaurants), allowing us to immerse ourselves in the culinary diversity of Siem Reap and enjoy authentic local flavors.
In conclusion, Anansaya La Maison serves as a commendable base for visitors to Angkor Wat, with its blend of thoughtful amenities and excellent location. While there were minor drawbacks such as the view from our room and the charge for a second airport transfer, the overall experience was enhanced by the hotel's hospitality.
GGuest UserWe stayed for 4 nights and had a great experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming; always keen to help. Great location close to the supermarkets, bubble tea store, food eateries, and a short distance from Pub Street and other local attractions. Staff made sure that the room is tended to everyday, it's left clean and tidy for us. Fresh water is left daily, shower had good pressure, A/C helps to cool the room, and bed is comfortable. Tip: Ask for 2 x keycards to keep one in the room to a/c running. We had complimentary breakfast in the mornings, plenty of choices from the al a carte menu and buffet - delicious and well-made pancakes, french toast, iced coffee, congee, and noodle soup. The only suggestions I could think of is to have A/C on (or fan) in the lobby to make it more welcoming for guests on entry. Also to have more channels available on the TV. Otherwise everything was good and we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to friends and family.
GGuest UserA cozy hotel with amazing services. All (you need) in one (stay). My family just visit this hotel during the Khmer new year. The DJ & bar make sure all the vibes you could have to celebrate the new year, while the friendliness and hospitality are served thoughtfully with huge smiles. The food is surprisingly delicious. Yet, as a family group over 15 people, the cost is more than a good deal. Special thanks to the pink hat handsome boy who took our orders, the big-smile BBQ man, the generous madam (GM?), and all adorable staffs. Last but not the least, great thanks to Mr. POV who recommande and share this heavenly hotel to my family.
SSteven Timothy RoweThe first night I was put in a room with an air conditioner that was running but never cooled. The next room had a family of very loud people that went most of the night. The staff is friendly and attentive, but obtrusive. I was moved to another room which had excellent air conditioning and was comfortable.
I have lived extensively in SE Asia and am familiar with the culture. However, always being asked,βWhere are you going,β or βWhat are you doing?β Made me feel very uncomfortable. Simply tell guests that if they need anything or have any questions to please ask, instead of feeling interrogated each time I walked in and out of the hotel.
The girl that served in the dining room had a warm smile and was very kind and she always tried to serve well and did great. The days she was off, it was an uncomfortable awkward experience just trying to have a simple breakfast. Just trying to get salt or getting condiments so that I could eat my food while it was hot, was almost impossible.
As an exercise swimmer, the pool was very unclear at first. I asked if it could be cleaned and their was resistance to do so. Eventually it was cleaned and later it was much better.
I booked my room for two and my girlfriend was only able to be with me part of the time. One evening when I walked into reception with her, the guy was rude and disrespectful and interrogating us both. It was a very uncomfortable and unacceptable situation.
I had booked it for two weeks. Two days before I left, one evening, there was a rat running on the soffit near the ceiling. I didnβt complain about it because my stay was nearly finished and I donβt know what they would even try to do to remedy the situation.
The balconies are nice and overall it was quiet and peaceful.
NNam Nabi 123We been there last week. We got the room exactly on the ground floor because this is the last room available on that day. We had an early flight so we arrived the hotel early. First, we thought we only drop our luggage first at the hotel and then we started our tour. We asked the receptionist who on duty in the morning, it would be good if we can check in early ? But if not possible, itβs also ok. She said we can check in early no problem and we donβt have to pay for the early check in. We were really happy. Sheβs very kind and warm welcome to us.
The room is large so we have enough space. The aircon is cooling enough for us too. But we have only one toilet roll in the room. The room is smelling good , nothing disturbing us. But we got a noise from outside in the morning. We would like to sleep in in the morning but the conversation from the people outside the room was loud and we got a free wake up service. I think the room no soundproof. When we booked we saw we get breakfast included the booking. We stayed there two nights and never get a breakfast. First day check in , we asked the receptionist man who had duty at night time on Saturday night, he said no we donβt have breakfast including but after we showed him the booking we had by email , he said yes we have and the breakfast will start at this time to this time. The next day, we asked for the breakfast, the reception man ( a new face again) , he said sorry the chef is not coming today so we donβt have breakfast. Heβs friendly and polite but canβt the hotel find any solutions? Just lets the staff say apologise to every client like that ? If we donβt get food , no matter they can offer us something like coffee or juice besides nothing to offer only apologies. The next second day, also the same we didnβt any breakfast.
The hotel location is good, not far from the pub street and above 18mn by motorcycle to the temple.
The room: big enough, clean enough, but the pillow case were old . So better replace a new one .
Soundproof: not good, you can hear everything from outside when the people talk or the housekeeping cleaning outside. But only in the morning or early morning.
The staff: they are friendly, welcome, polite, helpful and always smile.
Only big complaints for me about the breakfast. If in the booking say including should be included. If the chef canβt come , ask for the another chef or provide something else instead of nothing.
GGuest UserLovely hotel , firm but comfortable beds , refillable water bottles, water station, hot water , although it took a while to come through, very helpful staff, one young man although finished for the day took pity on my husband running back down the road as he had forgotten to pick his phone up in restaurant, gave him a lift to get it , very much appreciated. Nice pool area with a few sun beds . Some wildlife in central pool area .
Down point we were on ground floor and should have had a city view but we got a wall which made the room quite dark
GGuest UserBeen to this old chestnut a few times over the years. Good thing is, it doesnβt change. You know what to expect. It is still good value for money IMO. Coming from a 5 star hotel a few days earlier in Bangkok I new what to expect. Bed was hard but sleepable, shower nice and hot, the small step down from the bathroom into the room will get you every time lol, the tv on the wall is only their for aesthetics, aircon works fine, no elevator but I prefer the exercise anyway. Be very careful walking down the stairs as there is very poor lighting. The pool area is really nice considering the hotel standard. No fault of the hotel but the noise on the street is ridiculous! Doff, doff going until 4-5 am full on every night by the mobile disco/bar. I canβt believe the police allow this to happen! I feel sorry for the hotels surrounding because they lose customers. Will probably stay again next time I find myself in SR because it is so convenient. Staff are always casual and pleasant. Cheers
