A wonderful 3 night stay at the Victoria Hotel & Source Spa. Our first visit to this hotel and Sidmouth but hopefully not our last. The hotel is a lovely mix of traditional (uniformed doorman, pianist or quartet playing during dinner) and modern (wonderful refurbished Spa). The hotel is perfctly located; straight onto the esplanade for a stroll to lthe town (go left) or Connaught Gardens (go right). The hotel has fantastic views of the coast from its sunroom lounge (and also our sea view room).

Great Hotel
We love this hotel, used to stay here regularly when working in the area, however haven’t visited for many years as we now don’t live so far away however as part of a longer trip decided to revisit and was delighted the service and hospitality are as top notch as they were 30 years ago. Had a great feeling of grandeur and service which sadly is so lacking in many hotels. The room was miden with everything we needed, lovely comfy bed, nice bathroom with super over bath shower. We ate dinner in the White Room and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the local wine from the extensive wine list. Parking was easy which is important in Sidmouth. Great stop over and I’m sure we’ll be back again very soon for a overnight escape.

We returned to The Victoria for the second time this year and 7th time overall. It never disappoints - the staff are so friendly, the food is excellent, the ambience is genteel and relaxed. We visit for our birthdays and always have a wonderful break.

Have just visited this wonderful hotel for a birthday celebration weekend and the whole experience was truly wonderful. The staff are all so welcoming and accommodating, the rooms were of a very high standard, the food was all delicious, the bar service with the canapes was a lovely touch and the spa area with the pool was amazing. We had the a perfect stay in this delightful hotel and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. We shall look forward to returning in January
