Breakfast had a good variety of choices, and the beachfront restaurant offered delicious food with an amazing sunset view. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the beach and taking beautiful photos around the resort.
Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we highly recommend Ananya Lipe Resort to couples, families, and anyone looking for a peaceful tropical vacation. We would definitely love to come back again!"

I really enjoyed the hotel's layout—it's only a five-minute walk to a 7-Eleven, which is super handy.
The hotel's beach area is pretty small and often has boats around, so if you'd like to go snorkeling, I'd suggest walking about 10 minutes to the east side of the beach. For calm, beautiful turquoise water, head to the north tip of the island—it's about 30 minutes from the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort offers massage services, a diving club, and yoga classes.
A quick note on the bungalow I stayed in: there was no hot water, quite a few mosquitoes, and the lighting was fairly dim since it's nestled among gardens and other houses. The hotel also follows an eco-friendly policy to save electricity."

"A long stretch of white sand beach, and if you walk a little north, you can catch the sunset at North Point. 🌊 The sea changes color many times throughout the day, but it's always incredibly blue, and beautiful even in the rain. 🛌 The rooms are more modern, but you have to wait a bit longer for hot water in the shower (staff said it's because it's low season). 🚣 Free 1-hour kayak/paddleboard/snorkeling every day. The first time I tried it, a hotel employee even taught me, and the next day they took me to a nearby island to snorkel. 🐶 Lots of cute dogs on the beach, and hardly any mosquitoes. The restaurant food is delicious, and the buy-one-get-one-free happy hour drinks are great. There are three round-trip shuttle buses to Walking Street every evening. It’s all the little details that make it so comfortable, like the automatic trash cans 🫶. I didn't want to leave, this is what a resort should be. (The only downside is that the breakfast selection is small and very average.)"

"This is a very famous sunset hotel with beautiful sea views. I was pleasantly surprised to find the bathtub downstairs, which I didn't discover until the second day. Soaking in the tub while enjoying the sea view was absolutely delightful! The hotel's food is quite tasty, especially dinner, where you can also watch the sunset – it's stunning. The staff speak a little Chinese, are enthusiastic, and have a great attitude. The beach is private to the hotel; the sand is a bit coarse, but it doesn't detract from enjoying the sea views or kayaking. It was excellent, and I'll definitely come back again!"

"This hotel was a lovely surprise for me and my fiancee, with a beautiful rustic charm that really adds to the experience. The pool is fantastic, and the beach is literally just steps away. It’s also within walking distance to Walking Street, with convenient taxi services available right outside the hotel.
Breakfast offered a great variety of options, which was a nice bonus. While this isn’t a typical 4 or 5-star resort, what you do get feels 5-star, the stunning beach, the beachfront bar, the pool, and the very comfortable bed and pillows all stood out.
My only minor issue was with the shower, as the hot water was a bit inconsistent. Aside from that, I would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t pay too much attention to the negative reviews. Koh Lipe is a small paradise island far from the mainland, and this hotel is a wonderful place to enjoy it."

"We stayed in the Tree Pool Villa, and our kids absolutely loved it. They kept saying it felt like a real treehouse! The glass roof upstairs was such a nice surprise—we even spent some time looking at the stars before going to bed. They also had so much fun in the private pool. If they weren't there, they were swimming in the main pool or playing on the beach, which is only a short walk from the villa.
The beach is honestly beautiful. The water is so clear and such a gorgeous blue. One evening we walked to Sunset Beach to watch the sunset, and it wasn't far at all.
The resort was quiet and relaxing, the food was really good, and all the staff were kind and welcoming. Before we left, my husband and I looked at each other and said, ”We have to come back here again."

"I really enjoyed our stay jt was low season so nice and quiet but still a good atmosphere. Rooms were comfortable, we booked two but could have managed with one room with a 9 and 12 year old. Everything worked , the internet was decent. Gardens and greenery lovely spot. Breakfast was fairly standard for this type of accommodation. Nice fresh fruit eggs, bacon, pancakes , waffles and Asian options, eaten with a nice view of the sea. Location at end of beach but close to walking street. We tended to walk to North point and get a taxi scooter back for 50b. Food on island was good. Coffee from tugboat needs a mention. Island overall is beautiful and has a really nice vibe at present hopefully it doesn't get over developed. North point is a lovely area which still has it's natural beauty."

"Loved it! 🥰🥰🥰 This stay completely exceeded my expectations. Each room is a small, standalone bungalow, and the hotel's beach is absolutely beautiful. The staff provides shuttle service to and from the pier. 🥰🥰 The rooms are very clean, and it's a short walk along the beach to both the pier and the walking street. For places further out, the staff will help you call a tuk-tuk. There are almost no downsides. I honestly didn't have high hopes before arriving, so I was completely surprised that a 500-yuan hotel could be this good! The only issue is that the service attitude isn't great, and the front desk staff seemed to judge people. "

"Bulow Casa was an absolute gem and one of the best stays we have ever had.
The beach was stunning — pristine, peaceful, and just steps away. It’s the kind of beach you never want to leave.
The atmosphere of the hotel itself was wonderful. The surroundings are beautifully maintained and create a truly relaxing environment that makes you feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive.
The food at the hotel was delicious and well-prepared, with a great variety that satisfied every craving. Dining here was genuinely a pleasure.
The staff deserve a special mention — they were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always went out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Their warmth made a real difference to our experience.
One standout feature that truly impressed us was the complimentary shuttle service around Koh Lipe. Being able to explore the island freely without any extra cost was a fantastic touch that showed how much the hotel cares about its guests’ experience.
We would recommend Bulow Casa to anyone visiting Koh Lipe without hesitation. We will absolutely be back."
