My partner and I recently stayed at The Peninsula London, and it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.
Our room was elegantly decorated and spotlessly clean, with a stunning view of the city. The comfortable bed and luxurious amenities ensured we had a restful stay. The hotel also offers a fantastic array of facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center, a relaxing spa, and a beautiful rooftop bar where we enjoyed stunning sunsets.
The location was ideal, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast served each morning, which featured a diverse selection of fresh and high-quality options.
Overall, our stay at The Peninsula London exceeded our expectations. It's a perfect choice for anyone looking for a combination of comfort, style, and excellent service. We can't wait to return!

The room facilities are indeed high-end and exquisite, and the bed is very comfortable
The location is also very good. It is the most satisfactory one among the three hotels we stayed in (The Shard, Bulgari, and Mandarin).
However, the service feels not as warm and sincere as Wenhua

We were struggling to work out our evening. We stopped at the St Germaine branded bar on Bishopsgate. We were greeted by Elpee. From the outset they made us feel welcome and went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable. They let us choose our seat, and set us up for what we expected to be a brief libation. My disabled partner and I were really impressed with Elpees attentiveness and quality of service. Being in London and disabled it can be a hard to navigate and aggressive environment. Our stop refreshed us, and made a it an exciting stop in our brief to the city.

This is a very good hotel and lounge bar. I think this is where the old Coffee Place used to be. I've always wanted come here as it is the best coffee shop in London. The interiors were plush and the staff discreet. I ordered a pot of coffee with biscuits. They were delicious. Park Lane is very oriental as we have the Hotel Intercontinental on one side and the Dorchester on the other. The Hilton Hotel which is in the middle finds favour with Asians as well. I have stayed at the Edgeware Rd. Hilton and had coffee at Claridges, Dorchester group of hotel as was this hotel and coffee shop owned by the richest man in the world Sultana of Brunei. We have a Coffee Place in Dhaka, Bangladesh but it is not as plush as this one. The speciality being it was self service as the service station restaurants in this country that being a novelty in Dhaka in the 80's.I had a lovely cold coffee there which I never did in England.

We stayed at Shangri-la for two nights.I can’t praise enough the staff and the hotel itself. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to an amazing city-view room. Our room was facing St Paul’s Cathedral and other famous landmarks. The views were absolutely breathtaking. I decided to use the pool and sauna. It was brilliant! Again stunning views as the pool is located on the 52nd floor. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of cold and hot food, fruits and pastries. The facilities at the hotel are great but what makes everything perfect is the people and staff. A big thank you to duty manager Tylor and the reception staff, especially Jasmine and Andzelika, the pool attendant. You made our stay memorable.❤️

Traveled down to London for the weekend to watch Moulin Rouge Really enjoyed the weekend, the hotel was amazing, very impressed, every member of staff was polite and very welcoming Only thing I can fault was a smell in our bathroom when we arrived back from the theatre (smelled like drains) seemed to go away when the shower was run.

Really nice welcome from staff both at the concierge desk and reception. Even a glass of sparkling wine on arrival in some lovely cut glass 'vintage' style glasses. I'm not normally a sparkling wine fan, but I enjoyed this one. I'd love to know what it was but I forgot to ask! Room was very nice, and based in the more modern 'Barlow' wing. Not quite the historic side of building alas - felt very much the servants quarters of the hotel! But room had charm still, and everything is of an incredible quality. Also in the room was a really lovely postcard with a welcome message on it, and a St Pancras themed chocolate bar, utilising some of the mosaic patterns from around the hotel and station in its design. I especially liked the 'hidden' plug socket on the bedside table, which was in the perfect place for my overnight charging stuff. It was also delightful having a very large round dining table in the room, it was nice to grab lunch downstairs, bring it back to the room and eat it at a proper table whilst relaxing in peace and quiet. The windows in these rooms do not open, unfortunately. It would have been nice to have had at least a vent option available to us, but the A/C did keep a fairly consistent temperature. Platinum benefits ended up being a slight room upgrade, and late check out. It was originally 3pm, but I checked again in the morning and 4pm was now possible due to some early checkouts - this was a huge relief as that extra hour meant we could have a much more relaxing day as it timed perfectly for our onward travel. As a platinum member, I was granted access to the chambers club. Wow. Simply wow. What a space! Easily the best lounge I've visited. Absolutely super, the staff amazing too. I was just sad I only really got to experience when it was just about to close for the evening, and the breakfast, and not any of the famous early evening selections. At the time of writing (March 2023) the Chambers Club is open from 0700 to 2200 with Breakfast from 0700 to 1100 weekdays, 1200 on weekends. The evening service is between 1700 and 2000, and Hors-d'oeuvre are served from 1730 til 1930. (It is self-service between midday and 1630). At breakfast the next morning a bountiful supply of anything you could think of at a breakfast buffet. The only disappointment was the eggs. I think a kilo of butter went into every batch. But. I’ve yet to find a single luxury hotel that does scrambled eggs correctly at the buffet so I cannot judge too harshly. And when that D'Longhi toaster goes to 'small electrical appliance heaven', I hope it gets replaced by a Dualit. I went on a self-guided walking tour of the hotel in the morning too with help from some of the staff by way of directions. The highlights being; The grand staircase, which is an engineering wonder in itself and worth the climb, And on the 1st floor you are rewarded with the painting of The Garden of Deduit by the Scottish artist Thomas Wallis Hay. And on the top floor, the most amazi

MMaha AlshihaOur stay here was wonderful! The room was spacious, clean, had wide windows with a beautiful view from two sides with blinders that we can close at night.. the service was great, the food was good as well and the Thai restaurant at floor 1 was delicious! I love everything here and I would definitely visit again
KKevin1234Very nice hotel attached to the Royal National Hotel with a great location. Rooms were a good size with decent storage. Beds were super comfy and they included a fan in the room in case it was too warm.
The hand soap, shower gel and shampoo smelt amazing!!!!!
Breakfast is in a different area to the main hotel and is very nice.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would happily stay here again.
GGuest UserThis hotel is a clean modern hotel which is well maintained. My wife and I stayed here twice, for 3 and 4 days respectively while touring the UK. The rooms were comfortable for sleeping, quiet and the air-conditioning worked well. The bathrooms were well designed and very clean. Housekeeping was fine. The major problem was that both of our rooms were very small and they had virtually no space for clothing. There was no usable drawer space and closets were tiny and had an inadequate number of hangers as well. If you are traveling for other than 1-2 days, there is no place to put anything. Living out of suitcases for 4 days or more does not add to the enjoyment of one's trip. The Breakfast is at best, just OK. There is a minimal amount of fresh fruit and while you can order off a hot breakfast menu, most things we ordered were not very good, so we stopped doing that. The Reception staff was marginally helpful. No one came to help us with our luggage. If you need a taxi or limo to take you to the airport, you are on your own. In addition, the front of the hotel is covered by bus stops so the taxi or limo has to try to find a place to pull us to load or unload. There are just a lot of annoying things about this hotel, some could be remedied, others probably not. For my next visit to London, I will not be staying here.
GGuest UserStay was great until I found out they took money from my bank for breakfast I didn’t take. I stated at check-in I didn’t want breakfast as I was at work early the following day.
I called the hotel for a refund, only to be told I need to send an email to the manager and they would check the cctv to ensure I didn’t attend breakfast.
GGuest UserJust leaving Holiday Inn Sutton and have had a truly wonderful stay. This hotel was used as a base for exploring London and surrounding areas and can't recommend highly enough. Ok we're not talking 5 star luxury, but if you're looking for that common sense should tell you to book elsewhere. However if you're looking for CLEAN (so important) and comfort with EXCELLENT staff then this will be for you! Staff are honestly some of the best I've encountered (even in 5 star hotels) and I don't say that lightly. Restaurant, front desk, housekeeping, health club all an absolute credit to the hotel and brand. Thank you. Nothing was to much trouble and you made our stay really great. It's the morning and evening acknowledements and friendly vibe and all the little touches that really do go a long way. We'll be back and would highly recommend this hotel and if there's a way to reward staff on duty 27th-29th August 2022 please do :)
CC AngLocation is good very close to Russell Square underground that can connect you to many locations! Walking distance to British museum! Buses are also easy access. Many cafe nearby.
Only down side amenities is limited. Simple wash and shampoo provided ! You needs to bring your own conditioner and facial tissues!
CChua Yuet LeeWe are stay at this wonderful hotel for one nights.
Here are our honest comments:
1) The location is convenient, just two bus stops away from Terminal 5 by the No. 423 bus.
2) The bedroom is elegant and equipped with modern facilities. It is very clean, comfortable, and comes with high-quality bottled water, tea, coffee, and cookies.
3 )The bedding is also very comfortable for sleeping.
Overall, Keep up the good work and continue to provide high-quality service at a reasonable price for your customers.
Best regards, Kit Chua Malaysia
GGuest UserHotel staff are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is located perfectly for a visit to West Field shopping complex, 5 minutes walk away. The room we booked was the lowest priced available without breakfast included. It was clean and well presented as you expect for a Hilton. Tea and coffees provided as well as a fridge. The bathroom looked tired with heavy wear around the lower door and skirting given an appearance of shabbiness. That said it was clean. Also thankfully it wasn’t cold outside ( just wet ) as the heating wasn’t functioning.

GGuest UserWe stayed 3 nights here, first night the rooms were wrong, after going to reception the ignorant woman behind reception was no help. Her male colleague changed the rooms on day 2. All 4 rooms were dumps, not fit for 1 star. Our room in the basement was directly above the tube line, you could hear it travelling every few minutes. Health and safety doesn't exist here. Breakfast is basic, no hot food and the milk was sour and stored in a flask. Everywhere except reception is filthy. The bar was closed for 2 of the 3 days we spent here as the barman did not turn up for work and nobody else was authorised to open the bar including the manager. 10 pounds charge to store your luggage while you wait to get checked in!!! While passing through reception at various times we heard at least 6 people complaining about the rooms they had been allocated. Nothing matches the photos online. Windows unlockable, safes not working, corroded tap in the ”newly refurbished bathroom”, showers blocked. Well over priced for what it is. This place is not a hotel!! Unfortunately 0 stars is not an option.

GGuest UserDon’t know where to start. The room it self wasn’t where the reception was, turns out it’s about 100m down the road & round the corner, making the below issues not worth chasing up for a short stay. A horrible smell, Very sewage/stagnant water I would say. Which come from the bathroom sink, which hair & gunge was blocking it leaving a slight blockage. Very cramped, you couldn’t swing a cat around the room. Window latch was damaged, led to feeling insecure even being high up. Dodgy wall fittings. Inc now where to hold the shower head on the wall. Crap little kettle that was broken & burnt my partners hand. Rusty/dusty fan. No bin! All round a pretty grim place. This said room is what my guess is one of a few which is not advertised in the photos when viewing/booking.
