Super nice and local experience in Dali Dong village. The shared bathroom was not a big deal, guests were not many and it felt almost like having a private one. I loved the shared space, where I could work with my laptop and enjoy the sunlight and river sound. The hotel personnel is very kind. Food is not provided/available but it’s possible to eat in local people’s home or the few “restaurants”available. Highly recommended. The room is not equipped with an AC, just a small fan that positioned close to the bed would do the job.

The breakfast is relatively simple, and the reserved dinner tastes very good and is a local specialty. The best experience is to drink coffee and snacks on the corridor of the rice field store, look at the greenery and listen to the chirping of cicadas in the stream, and spend a peaceful summer.
The only drawback is that the air conditioning unit makes a buzzing sound from time to time while sleeping.

Service: After making a reservation, the housekeeper called us to inform us about parking, location, and other precautions. She also came to pick us up after we arrived, which was very considerate.
Environment: I read the magazine in the room. The room is made of fir and uses mortise and tenon structure. As soon as you enter the room, you can smell the natural wood fragrance, which is very comfortable. I am also satisfied with the toiletries and hair care essential oil.
Facilities: There is a wooden treasure box in the room, which contains a flashlight for visiting the village at night, as well as eye masks and earplugs (the village is very quiet and is never visited)
Features: The explanation by Grandpa Yang, the village elder, gave us a deeper understanding of the village. The stories of the Drum Tower, Satan, and Golden Cicada gave us a better understanding of the Dong culture.

This is the first time I have done a serious review of a hotel. First of all, the service is very good. Since I arrived at the hotel very late that day, at 1 a.m., the hotel staff waited for me until that late, and they picked up and dropped off my luggage throughout the whole journey. They were very thoughtful. On the day of check-in, I brought my child and mother with me. The hotel also specially upgraded me and delayed check-out to 2 o'clock. It was very humane. The hotel is very clean. The room type is the simple fragrant wood style that I like. It is suitable for weekends with children or those who want to temporarily escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Italy is a stop I am looking forward to on this trip. When the car drove up the mountain, the sun had just set. The lights and smoke shining on the mountainside made the body's fatigue disappear in an instant. I was also looking forward to the hotel. The housekeeper, Xiao Dan, contacted me one day in advance. When we arrived, because we were not used to the winding roads and hills, Xiao Dan came out to pick us up. In the evening, they prepared hot tea for us, introduced the hotel and its environment to us, and were lucky enough to get a room upgrade. The hotel was not only beautifully designed with Dong characteristics, but also had advanced facilities and was very comfortable. The next day, the housekeeper, Sister Xiaoqin, introduced us to breakfast early in the morning, which was nutritious, delicious and healthy. She also taught us how to go to the observation deck to enjoy the scenery. It is worth mentioning that the maid in the store who helped carry the luggage had to lift two boxes with one piece of wood. It must be very difficult to walk uphill when going out of the mountain. We were actually really embarrassed and could only say thank you. In short, this is really an unexpected and surprising stop. WWongyThis is the best hotel you will get in Rongjiang. I would say the standard of fit out is similar to a Atour hotel for example. However, this is a brand new property and has a lot of gaps and it feels like the hotel is at a pre opening stage rather than a fully opened hotel.
The Landry in very small basically only one washing machine and one dryer. But after each wash there was water leaks all over the floor as they have not installed the water pipes properly.
The rooms are clean but air con keeps on switching off and you need to keep on changing cold settings to turn it back on. Another annoying thing is the toilet light. Even when turned on the sensors will turn off the light halfway through a shower. So you need to wave the sensor to turn the lights on again.
The reception staff are friendly but clearly lack the polished service. I purchase two nights and added to additional night which I paid at the hotel. But the evening staff don’t seem to communicate with the morning shift. I received a call on the third day around lunchtime asking why I didn’t check out when I paid for two extra nights at reception.
There is supposed to be a gym but no equipment and the football field below is nice but entrance to the field is not yet setup.
Finally, breakfast is very very basic so don’t expect much. Noodles, eggs and a few veggie dishes but quality is quite low.

There was a problem with the air conditioning remote which took a long time to resolve, and it was difficult to heat the room thoroughly even when it was working. The proprietor is helpful, though be aware you may need to call her when you arrive if she's not at reception. The facilities in the room are basic, and I needed to ask for a kettle.

The room was clean and spacious, the shower had a large amount of water, and it was equipped with a toilet mat and disposable bath towels for guests to choose from. There were two pillows, one high and one low, and the breakfast was rich. I plan to stay in this hotel next time. The transportation is convenient, there is free parking, there is a large farmer's market next to it, and there is a delicious pancake next to it.

GGuest UserIt’s very hot everywhere in the summer vacation. I decided to come to this mysterious Dongzhai to experience it before seeing 5 ha. I chose this store in Yuanshi B&B among the many accommodations.
The homestay is located in the stockade, and the surrounding environment is beautiful and quiet. Surrounded by green mountains and green waters, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is like a paradise. There is also a clock tower that looks even very long.
