The biggest surprise was being able to do laundry, which is super practical for anyone on a longer road trip – it solved a major headache. Parking was also incredibly convenient; no need to hunt for a spot, you just park right downstairs, which is hassle-free and secure. The environment is really comfortable, clean, and tidy; the hygiene is impeccable, and the bedding feels fresh, making for a very pleasant stay. The owner is also incredibly warm and friendly, chatting with us like a friend and even proactively recommending great local spots. The whole experience was top-notch! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit, and I highly recommend it to everyone~"

"Facilities: Simple and practical, though the smart Tmall Genie seemed a bit quirky, perhaps needing an update. Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy. Environment: Beautiful window view. Service: Friendly and welcoming. Arriving in Mohe on the Snow Country Train, we checked into a cozy haven, the eLong Hotel, nestled in a wonderland at the far north. As we opened the door, a 270° bay window offered breathtaking panoramic views of the snowy plains and icy mountains. The 1.8-meter wide king-size bed, comfortable sofa, and spacious bay window transformed the -30℃ outdoor chill into a wonderfully warm and familiar indoor sanctuary. This provided a safe and comfortable resting environment for my elderly parents on their first long journey. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, providing extra hangers, bottled water, and tea of the same quality, which gave my family great peace of mind. In the morning, we welcomed the sunrise with stunning alpenglow outside our window. The hotel's varied and delicious breakfast kicked off our invigorating trip to Mohe. We had a delightful interaction with charming deer, and to the rhythm of jingling bells and trotting hooves, we ventured into the natural ice and snow city. Gazing at the winding, extensive border of our nation felt like being in a fairy tale, truly purifying the soul. Thank you to the hotel for providing such a haven – it was more than just accommodation; it was a conduit for transmitting Arctic culture. As the horse-drawn carriage once again traversed the snow-covered forest, we eagerly anticipate the arrival of our next icy dawn."

"An excellent two-night stay at this hotel. The room was clean, modern and well-heated for the winter. It was a welcoming place to return to after a long day. However the location is slightly away from the center and bus stop (I am sure you can ask them to pick you up for free). But if you don’t mind walking like I do, you will appreciate this place for its general space and vicinity. The reception is happy to provide you with a thermos and the pitcher for you to 泼水成冰。 there is no need to pay for this beautiful experience. I did it 7 times on my own 🤣."

The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient, close to the post office and Seven Star Park, both within walking distance. "Environment: In front of the B&B, there's a vast snowy forest, perfect for photos. Everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping is nearby. Service: The toiletries are all L'Occitane, and the owner is very generous. They even treated me to Maofeng tea. Facilities: They have all the props for 'splashing water into ice' (literally) and plenty of sleds and tires… you can just play around freely."

"I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn during a weekend getaway, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my experience. Check-In: The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home immediately. Room: My room was clean and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed and a cozy seating area. I appreciated the modern decor and the large flat-screen TV. The room also included a mini-fridge and microwave, which were convenient for storing snacks and leftovers. Amenities: The complimentary breakfast was a highlight! There was a good selection of hot and cold items, including scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, and a variety of pastries. The coffee was fresh and available all day, which I loved. The fitness center was adequately equipped for a quick workout, and I also enjoyed the indoor pool, which was a nice touch for relaxation after a day of exploring the area. "Let me share my story: I was a bit worried because some online reviews of hotels in Beijicun (Arctic Village) weren't great. I kept searching and found this inn. Initially, there were no king rooms, but I patiently waited a day, and suddenly one became available, so I booked for two nights. I don't like bothering people, so from Mohe Station, I took a taxi directly to the front of the 'Northernmost Post Office' and walked the rest of the way! I met the owner, who was very enthusiastic and took me to rent a car (I'm a travel photographer: Jie Meng 3633). The car rental place quoted 400 yuan. The owner told me it was a bit expensive and advised me to go back to Mohe to rent, but I decided against it, not wanting to disrupt my shooting schedule, so I rented it. Later, I got stuck in the snow while driving. The owner drove out with a shovel and helped me rescue the car after a great deal of effort. Everything turned out fine. I'm especially grateful for his help in resolving the unexpected situation in -35 degree weather! The room was very clean, and the proprietress kept it very tidy. I travel with some equipment, and since the police station is right across the street, I often didn't even bother closing my door – I felt completely at ease. For friends who are into travel photography or have many safety concerns, you won't go wrong choosing this place!"

"This wasn't the most expensive room I stayed in during this trip, but it was definitely the most comfortable and my favorite. The quality of the hotel amenities is evident in the details; the provision of disposable towels and bath towels eliminates any concerns about hygiene, which is often an issue with B&Bs. The toiletries provided in the room are also of high quality, and there are so many of them that even as someone in the industry, I worried the owner's operating costs might be too high. The room was quite warm, which might be unusual for someone from the south, so the landlady cooled us down with delicious ice cream, half a dozen bottles of mineral water, and frozen pears and persimmons. Both the interior and exterior of the building show signs of professional design. As someone who is very particular about hotels, I surprisingly found almost no faults. If I had to pick something to tell the landlady, it would be this: Was that light box in the courtyard with the big flame and the 'Beiji Village' (Arctic Village) lettering placed there by your designer? It really detracts from the overall aesthetic of your courtyard! Hahaha."
