The waiters are very polite, have few beards, and are well-equipped. There is an English breakfast, a parking lot, and a small garden close to the city center, which is suitable for dog lovers.

I enjoyed my stay at Abbot’s Mead! My room was very comfortable and the staff were great! I will stay there again if I’m back in Shrewsbury! The location was very good. I did not have a car so it was great that it was easy to walk to restaurants, etc!

Lovely, small, family-run, independent hotel/B&B right in the centre of Shrewsbury. The room and bed were both comfortable, with all the usual facilities you would expect from this kind of accommodation. Decent breakfast options served by friendly staff. Free on-site parking for 10 cars which we were able to use every day for the four days we were there. Notwithstanding its central location, it was quiet. The biggest plus is its location, providing very easy, walkable access to all the shops (many of which are small independents), restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs that Shrewsbury has to offer. Would use again and definitely recommended.

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely b@b, Andrew and his team so welcoming! My daughter and I stayed one night (after staying overnight at Shrewsbury prison which I highly recommend too!l) We were lucky enough to have an early check in as our room was ready. The room it's self was clean and cosy and we both had a great sleep. Breakfast was delicious, just the right amount. Hotel was very central to all the amenities in Shrewsbury. Definitely would come back again

This hotel is excellent. It s in a perfect location: walking distance from the town yet in a quiet area. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. We were able to park on the car park outside the hotel which was safe and free!

Comfortable room , excellent breakfast defined by quality of food and quality service. The staff score 10/10. Located in Shrewsbury centre , but peaceful and quiet atmosphere. This is a well run establishment, not to be missed, well priced and well presented hotel. Well done. Thank you.

Lovely little hotel in great location of Shrewsbury, room was clean had tea/coffee kettle etc and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with different hot choices cereal/yogurt fresh fruit and included in price of room. Free car parking on front of hotel.

This is a well located hotel with the bonus of free parking, just a short walk from the sights. Our room was spotlessly clean, very quiet & comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious with some good variety. We enjoyed the break so much we’ve booked to come back

Just returned from a very pleasant stay at Abbots Mead. Comfortable accommodation and very friendly efficient staff. Breakfast was outstanding, and the location perfect, with the town and river in close proximity. Will definitely stay again in the future.
