Beautiful place staff warm, friendly and very approachable the room was a good size and spotlessly clean the bed and pillows were very comfortable and very quiet considering it is in the town center close to all the local shops carpark only a minute walk away the breakfast selection was beautifully laid out and plenty to choose from we had the cooked breakfast which was cooked to order we would definitely stay there again when we next visit Shrewsbury

We have just returned from three nights at Darwin’s Townhouse. The hotel is really nice and has a good location. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The reception staff were really nice and explained everything. Breakfast was served in the lovely conservatory, all the food was of a high standard and was served by lovely friendly staff. We would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to return.

We booked this hotel for a couple of nights for our visit to Shrewsbury and the surrounding area. The quality of the hotel was excellent with a very comfortable room. The breakfast room and choice of food was superb serve by lovely friendly staff who were only too happy to help. Reception staff are great offering lots of information which we found very useful. I would happily stay here again and recommend this boutique hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Shrewsbury.

A lovely hotel in the heart of Shrewsbury. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Room was lovely, very comfy bed and nice and quiet. Really nice breakfast. Will definitely stay again and would recommend to others. A little gem in Shrewsbury.

Very quiet. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. What more do you need ?! Great for our little dog. Area of grass great for necessary trips outside but walks along the river a very short distance away. Parking very nearby on a meter with app so no problem
