We arrived at Mt Zao in the middle of Our Epic Six Week Trip To Japan, during which we stayed in nine different hotels. This room was amongst my favourites. The staff largely didn't speak English and were not helpful. We had a stand off at the restaurant as we didn't understand that we couldn't dine at there without having made a booking far in advance. After this was explained, there was no apology or suggestions for alternative dining options. There are limited dining options in Zao. We ate at the Soup Curry place one night and a cute sushi joint another night. On the last night we ended up getting an ebiken bento box from the local L****ns as nothing was open. We did book breakfast each morning and that was fantastic. Lots of Japanese and Western options and it seemed like the food had all been prepared onsite. The hotel is very pretty, with a lovely view of the forest from the lobby. There is a common room with free coffee, tea and ice creams. People were pretty friendly in there. The hotel is the furthest from the 'town' but the closest to the ski lift and to the 'sulfurous' onsen. The ski lift is about 50 metres from the hotel and the ride up and down is spectacular. I thought the onsen was top notch. The sulfurous onsen outside has milky water that is supposed to be good for your complexion. It was fun having an onsen with snow all around. We stayed in the Western style room - it was spacious and well appointed. Our little lounge area had a beautiful view of pine trees and lots of snow. There was also a similar view from the luxurious bath tub (but I didn't use that tub as the onsen was so good.) The beds in our room were very hard. Our room also had a massage chair which I used for hours a time. It was a bit of a trek getting to Mt Zao. The hotel staff weren't very helpful with organising buses but they did drop us off at the bus stop early in the morning and we were picked up on our day of arrival. I know that the staff weren't friendly to us because of the language barrier, which is a shame because everyone should enjoy this venue. I would stay here again for sure. Next time we'll book the dinner set. It did smell amazing ! --

We stayed for 2 nights with two couples from June 18. The room was a large room of 30 square meters of Japanese bed on the 3 floor, and there were 2 elevators, convenient, old and weak feet. Dinner was delicious for two days with a great kaiseki dish with a good appearance and a variety of ingredients. The hot springs were in the inner bath and the open air, respectively, with a milky white bath with a rich sulfur fragrance. I was able to use it in a cheap plan, but I want to take care of it again next time.

An inn with a connection to poet Mokichi Saito. Waka poems written by the guests and locals are displayed, and there are *****s of paper and writing brushes in the room. The number of rooms is small, and meals can be served in private rooms. The furnishings and furnishings, and the tableware used for meals, etc., show a sense of commitment and taste. In particular, the cloudy, sulfur-scented hot springs while looking at the piled-up snow and the delicious, gentle-tasting dishes made with ingredients from Yamagata are pleasing to the eye and very satisfying. I was able to learn about the history and culture of Yamagata by receiving detailed answers to my questions about ingredients and other items. The shuttle service to the bus terminal and ropeway platform is also a nice service.

We loved the whole experience at Omiya Ryokan in Zao Onsen. We had a spacious and generously proportioned corner room and a lovely view over the village. The Kaiseki dinners and breakfasts were incredible and so carefully served. Omiya’s staff were lovely, and I want especially to mention Ishiyama-san for her wonderful help in making forward bookings for us and organising our suitcase to be sent onwards. She was always so smiling and patient. The ryokan’s Onsen was beautiful and we enjoyed it every day, wearing our Omiya yukatas. The outside onsen foot-bath was a lovely touch, and, hoping for enough late-season snow we even managed two lovely ski days!

The service was very good. Although I knew beforehand that the hotel staff could call us to the Zao bus station to drive us to the hotel. The hotel staff picked me up with my name tag,
Still moved. It also picked us up for free to other attractions in Zao. The hotel's catering service was great and the hot spring facilities were good.
Although the hotel's equipment looks a bit old, it matches the theme of the snow scene and its own hot spring hotel, but it has a unique flavor.
On the day I left, I missed some items in the room. I left Yamagata at that time, so I emailed the hotel, and the hotel quickly delivered my leftover items to my next hotel. thank you very much!

It is a historic hot spring club founded in 1841. The emperor of Japan has also come to stay. There is a detailed introduction to this hot spring club on the first floor. It is endless to see. The large bath is also very comfortable and relaxing with the outdoor scenery. The meal is very rich and fresh, and it is wonderful to eat the banquet after the soup. Very recommended

I stayed on Saturdays and Sundays in September. There was no plan for the prefectural discount, and I think it was about 20,000 yen per night. You can drink after Chen Quinn at All-In-One Cruise. It was good to be able to drink alcohol at dinner. Both dinner and breakfast were set. I was able to spend a relaxing time while infection control was also taken.
Akiu Grand Hotel is the only hotel in Akiu Onsen which has panoramic views of Rairai-kyo Gorge from the hotel. Hotel has four main baths and four open-air baths, and these command a whole view of Rairai-kyo Gorge lit up at night. Relax in a yukata (Japanese-style bathrobe) and enjoy a stroll along a nature trail in Rairai-kyo Gorge.

I wanted to go to Akiho Onsen in OKU zashiki in Sendai once. It was the first impression that the old lobby was a large group for the inn, but it was very good to answer politely even if I asked anyone of the staff a little. The place for the meal was a very large venue in the form of a Viking, but there was a wagon for the elderly who were badly feet, and the old man and grandson pushed the wagon and smiled and looked at it. I became a smile. The bath was very good. I was tired and sleepy until the morning. I'm going to see you again in autumn

I stayed for one night on my way back from Tohoku by car. The hotel in the route in chain is sometimes used, but this hotel was the first time. The front desk was polite. If you register and at the front desk you can attach your membership information to the Ponta card, you can check in only by signing from next time. Also, 3% Ponta points of tax-excluding accommodation are added. And, since the official site often has a discount plan called the secret campaign, I think it is the best value for membership registration and use this. This time it was 10%OFF plan. Also, if you make a reservation from the official site, you can also get a dedicated coin that can use the beverage vending machine for 1 times for free. The local area faces the national route 4. It is a high score that the vast flat parking lot is adjacent. It is a rare three-story low-rise building in the recent Route Inn. This low-rise building was built side by side, one smoking building and one non-smoking building. It is very grateful for us who are not good at cigarette smell to manage smokers in the building unit, but I noticed that there was an unexpected drawback in the room. The building opposite is almost the same building, and the window of the room opposite is located at a close distance of 5~6m outside the window of the room. There is a note in the room, but only the curtain of the race seems to see the inside from the outside at night. In other words, unless you pull the night light shielding curtain, the room will be rounded from the room opposite. Especially female guests will be careful. I think the building of this building is a little bit. The room itself is new and beautiful, but it is quite compact. It is a room that feels similar to a super hotel. I think the bed in the root in chain is quite solid and the mattress is divided, but the mattress here was a bit soft for the root in. Generally, this may be harder... The first floor public bath seems to have been white hot water at the beginning of the opening of 2016 年 3 months, but it is said that it changed to natural hot springs in 2017 年 11 months. The hot water of sodium chloride spring (low tension weak alkaline cold mineral spring) is about the degree that it is understood as a hot spring because there is a feeling of tsurusbe, but the hot water was exquisitely good. The bathroom was a bit large and there were about 15 washrooms. Because it is circulating filtering, it is naturally chlorine disinfection, but the smell of chlorine may happen, but it was not so bad. The restaurant on the first floor was large and the free breakfast menu was as usual. It is unified throughout the chain to the bread and juice variety used, and I think its cost management is great. This time I stayed when a tsunami warning was issued with the volcanic eruption in Tonga. When I went to bed, I was caught by a smartphone earthquake breaking, and when I was collecting information on TV, I received additional earthquake breaking to evacuate people in Natori city to the high ground. The hotel was about 7km away from the coastline, the height of the tsunami observed around 1m, and the height of the hotel around the hotel was displayed as iPhone altitude meter, and I didn't evacuate because I judged that it seemed to be okay. However, during this time, there was no kind of broadcasting in the building, and I was a little questioned whether it was okay in emergency. In summary, is a large parking lot and a hot spring bath a plus point, the building of the building, the narrowness of the room, and the system aspect of the emergency point negative? 80 pointism and it was unusual for the same kintaro cherry blossom route in hotel where the advantages and disadvantages were outstanding.

GGuest User It is an inn that I wanted to visit before. It is one of the small hot springs in Shiraishi City, Miyagi Prefecture, where there are only 4 inns called kamasen Onsen, but it has a history of more than 600 years. The main building is spectacular with the glass windows in the Taisho Period. I had dinner breakfast at the main building, but it is an atmosphere and a nice space. The accommodation building is renewed so you can spend comfortably. The dishes were very delicious with the contents of the evening breakfast and the ingredients of Miyagi. I was able to understand that I was chosen as Michelin. Especially, the duck pot and foie gras daikon felt the best taste I have ever eaten. The staff was polite and nice to all the people who responded to the evening breakfast, and I was able to spend comfortably from check-in to check-out. The quality of the two kinds of baths is good, so I want to change the season and visit again.
MmajinvolleyballCheck-in 2019/10/21 We chose this hotel in order to go to the Fox Village of the Tibetan King in the morning (20 minutes drive) because other hotels searched on Booking or remote or expensive hotels offer free parking, and the hotel can park next to the parking lot when the parking space is full. When checking in, use a magnetic card to eliminate the cost. There is a laundromat around the hotel, there are convenience stores, and the Shinkansen is also next to it. Even if you don't go to a nearby restaurant, you can have lunch or dinner in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast is good. Maybe the hotel policy is for business people. To the simple machine with a hot coat (forgive me for not using it only a little search on the Internet) All the bathroom items were embroidered with the hotel logo and packed in boxes that should be nice to the sanitary philanderer but a little wasteful to me (a lot of packaging), And there's too much stuff to make the bathroom look a little crowded. Overall, I really like this hotel.
GGuest UserThe room was very comfortable, and the hot spring bathroom was on the second floor. It was very comfortable to soak in. The only drawback was that you had to make a reservation for dinner in advance. Without a reservation, you could only eat snacks to satisfy your hunger. It was an interesting experience.
GGuest UserFirst of all, I need to correct the hotel location given by Ctrip. It is called Kamakaki Onsen in Japanese. It may be the result of the automatic translation software. It is called Kamadao Destination Onsen on Ctrip. It is very funny.
Overall, the price-performance ratio is good. After all, the price is there. It is relatively economical for Japanese hot spring hotels. You can't ask for too much.
In terms of hardware, the room I booked has to use the public toilet not far from the same floor. Of course, it is very hygienic, but it will be inconvenient if you get up at night.
The hot spring is divided into men's pool and women's pool. It is worth mentioning that according to the hotel, the hot spring water is from the source and is not recycled, so the hot spring water quality is very good.
Dinner and breakfast are OK.
The surrounding environment is very quiet, and a good sleep relieves fatigue.
The staff is warm and thoughtful.
AAntgtdks448It is just next to JR Shiraishi Station. Parking is complete (free). There are shops and convenience stores nearby. There are few restaurants around the station. The hotel restaurant was closed, so I bought lunch at the convenience store and made dinner.
