Hotels Near Umegatō Station in Shimonoseki

Arrived late at night and only １ nights. A little far from Shimonoseki Station, but the Karatsu market of the tourist spot is close and Akama Jingu shrine is in front of you. The dormitory room signed was just the view of Akama Jingu shrine. I couldn't use it when I checked out, but I seemed to have access to the rooftop. I did a waste of expecting a considerable view. The shared space is large and there is a cafe. Good environment for address hopper work. I'm almost a joint bath with Domi. It was my first visit to Shimonoseki, but I liked the city very much. However, it is subtle whether it becomes here because I want to take an inn around Shimonoseki station next time.

I used it for the first time on a business trip this time. It was a better impression than the national development hotel series in the vicinity. It is the way to cross the station front road at the position seen from the station, cross the underground road (the shortest) or the crossing sidewalk on the left side of the station on the back (less 々 far). Location conditions cleanliness is good. I don't go to the public bath on the first basement floor, but there is a joint bath. It is crowded depending on the time zone, but it is convenient to see the congestion situation on the TV screen in the room. The ramen of the noodle shop in the center of the adjacent ramen is delicious at the miso ramen shop. The guests are happy to have a drink 1 cup free including alcohol. There is also a single item, so you can easily use it as a tavern. However, the unfortunate thing is that the check-in is made by the time zone, and the procession takes too long. I was waiting for about 30 minutes when I went around 18 o'clock. Can't it be a little smoother? Because the check-out was possible by the machine, there was only one person at the front desk, and even if I tried to leave my luggage, it corresponded to other customers, and it took time and waited for a lot. I am glad to be able to temporarily leave my luggage before check-in or after out. However, when I went to take the luggage that I had temporarily kept after checking out in the evening, the customer was full at the front desk and waited for a while. I was frustrated because the time to leave the Shinkansen was approaching. It takes too long for one person. I want you to grasp the situation at the front desk at the office and respond to the empty employees. If this was not a full score, it was a pity. The language is polite.

Very close hotel from Shimonoseki Station. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk. The price of the original 々 is also cheap, but we were able to stay at a low price in the Go To Travel campaign. The bed is comfortable and comfortable in a clean clean room. There was also a bicycle rental (1 only) and I was able to use it for Shimonoseki sightseeing. It is 100 yen an hour. There is a little buffet of bread in the morning. It is difficult to have not many restaurants and convenience stores on the west side of Shimonoseki Station, and it is good to go to the hotel after shopping is done in front of the station.

Although the design of the hotel is relatively simple and old, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a bus nearby to go to Karato Market the next day👍🏻I appreciate the friendly attitude of the front counter staff, who also tried their best to communicate with us in English and a translator. It is a convenient location for business and leisure in JR Shimonoseki ３ minutes walk. There is an ion near the station and it is convenient for shopping, and the hotel １ floor was able to spend a good time at a tavern.

Located about 10 minutes walk from Shimonoseki Station. This dome inn is a manned correspondence with check-in payment and a free coffee next to the front desk. The room is a general dome in standard, there is a certain size and there is no pressure feeling. There are about 20 clothes lockers in the 10th floor large bath, 7 washing places in the bathroom, 5 people 〜 6 people, and open-air baths, sauna and water baths. Recently, the free ice pudding lactic acid beverage of the dome in standard is placed by time zone next to the large bath door. There seemed to be a manned hand rubbing place, but there was a free massage chair during the rest. Breakfast was on the first floor, there was a Japanese buffet, a puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer puffer pu I was able to spend comfortably with stable dome in standard and room bath.

You had everything you need whenever it come to JR hotel, the train station are always packed with foodies and whatever necessities you need like matsumoto kiyoshi. Fell ill this time when i arrived and the helpful staff though can't speak english well, try to help me identify the shop to get med and i greatly appreciate their customer service. Foodies street right below of the hotel, with Shin shin ramen, skewer and kinda a party foodies street. Very convenient but i dont think i will visit kokura so often but i will be back to this hotel if required. Great work!

good location near main train station, restaurants and shops, good for transportation. room is small but acceptable ,reasonable price. except some staff cannot speak English, can be trouble for people like me can't speak Japanese. it is good place for people who is on budget travel

We stayed 1-night in a 3-bedder while exploring North-East Kyushu area. Very friendly front desk staff and they were efficient and fast checking us in to to our room. To our surprise, we were provided with complimentary breakfast and also free-flow welcome drinks. Excellent end to the day after driving hours in the heavy downpour. Room was of good size for 3 adults and even space to lay out our luggage. WiFi was good and we had free car park throughout the stay. Beds were comfy with choice of pillows. Separate wash area outside the bathroom which was useful with 3 people in the room. Breakfast saw a good spread of local fare and it was sumptuous and must say the best hotel breakfast spread throughout our 2-weeks Kyushu road trip.
