Hotels Near Poseidon in Shenzhen

I really liked this hotel. The staff were so friendly. A little shy to use their English but tried hard to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. It is an older hotel, but clean and very comfortable. Lots of good places to eat within short walking distance. Some really nice places to walk at the backside of the hotel. It is really quite quiet as well, which is not always the case in China. The price was very reasonable. I need to come back to this area quite often. I'll be staying at this hotel.

There was a big bed and a small bed for three people. The small bed was made of cardboard boxes. The quilt was pilled, but I changed the quilt because I slept in a small bed. If I slept in a large bed, I would give a good review😁

Seriously review, let me start with the good things: convenient transportation, the subway is right at the door of the hotel, very convenient, convenient location, Splendid China is just opposite, 5 minutes walk is also very convenient. But the hotel room is small, take the bathroom for example, I bumped into the door handle when I stood up from the toilet, there is only so much space, the twin room is 1.2 meters and the bed is really small, the king room is 1.8 meters but looks like 1.5 meters, maybe the room is small because of the small size, the hygiene was originally thought to be relatively clean, I was about to take the nightgown to wear, but when I took it, I saw hair on it, I don't know if it was not washed or changed, it is said to be a four-star hotel? ? I bought a package that included tickets, otherwise it is totally unbelievable that this is a star hotel, it is just an ordinary one, there is a city inn next to it that looks similar

The service was excellent. The staff friendly and helpful. The hotel could benefit of redecoration of the guestrooms, as it's showing wear. Electrical outlets should be updated and the lighting could be separated for various times of use, such as bright, or subdued lighting. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of offerings, well presented.

The hotel room is very comfortable, the bed is moderately soft and hard, and I slept soundly. The service attitude is also very good, the front desk reception is very enthusiastic, and the questions are answered patiently and carefully. It is really close to the Window of the World, and the scenery from the window is also very good. The service is really thoughtful, which makes me feel the enthusiasm and care of the hotel. It was my first time staying here after returning from abroad. My first impression was that the surrounding environment was good and the greenery was very pleasant to look at. It was next to Qiaochengfang and I could get there in two steps by going downstairs. It was very convenient. I could drink coffee and enjoy afternoon tea time. The food was also very convenient. As for the apartment, the front desk was on the 31st floor. I could make a small suggestion to set up signboards on the first floor. It was really hard to find for the first-time guests. Secondly, the front desk staff Lilian was warm and enthusiastic, patiently introduced the surrounding facilities and the room furnishings, etc. She was very careful and deserved special praise. The room she arranged also had a very good orientation, and I could see the sunset. I would like to thank her very much. It was a perfect experience for my first stay. I will choose you again when I come to Shenzhen in the future.

This is my second trip to Shenzhen in the past 20 years, and my friend (who I call Gege) has recommended this hotel. My flight was late at night; the receptionist barely understands English, but they love to help. My room was on the 4th floor. It was a mini single room type, but it has every facility I need. The room is clean—not that new, but more spacious than I thought. The only thing they don't provide here in this room type is a refrigerator. But it is fine with me. The breakfast is lovely. I tried everything except the congee because I didn't know how to order it. Oh, but you need to ask for the ”zhāo cháng quán” at the reception counter if you book the room that includes breakfast. It will serve from 7.30 a.m. until around 10 a.m.   I love the location of this hotel so much. It is located on the beautiful boulevard and just a few minutes away from OCT Loft, the art square. Lawson is just around the corner, as is the pharmacy, as well as some local restaurants. The Qiaocheng East Metro station is about 7 minutes away, but walking along the boulevard makes it feel like 3 minutes to me. The housekeepers are nice. Actually, everyone at the hotel is. I mentioned the housekeeper because she cleans my room every day, and that's what I need from coming back to travel for a whole day, but I feel that it was extra clean as she changed my towel and put in new, clean amenities for me every day. I tried to communicate with her on my third day and showed her my appreciation for her work. On my last day of staying at this hotel, I left a note on the bed, written in my bad handwriting in Chinese. I hope she will find it. The receptionist on that day also helped me call a taxi when my phone application was not working.   I love everything in this hotel. The price is reasonable. I won't say cheap. You get what you pay for, and for me, I got a little more than I expected. I'll be back once every year and will definitely book this hotel again.   If you are a solo traveler and looking for a lovely hotel in a nice location, not as busy in the city, and love the arts and a bit of strolling on the greenery boulevard, then H'Life Hotel (OCT Loft) or Huali Hotel is what you need. And booking with Trip.com is my best choice. My flight was cancelled once when the typhoon hit Shenzhen early this month. I had to cancel at the last minute, but I booked it with the free cancellation option. So, all was well. I got the refund later and then booked it again in the next 2 weeks. So please keep your good quality and maintain this standard, and then I will come back and recommend people come here too. See you again next year!

The hotel is close to the Science Park and MixC, and it is very convenient for eating and shopping. The hotel also offers free parking, which is quite good. The front desk lady is very nice and enthusiastic, and she took the initiative to help with luggage. The hotel also sells frozen drinks, which is very thoughtful and convenient. The room is clean and hygienic, the environment is good, and there is no peculiar smell. The hotel does not have breakfast, but I had breakfast at the noodle shop next door, which was not bad.
