Sheraton Shenyang South City Hotel

Stopped here on the way back home, but it felt a bit like a miss. It's hard to believe this is a Sheraton. First, the hotel facilities are definitely very old. As soon as I entered the room, my mold allergy kicked in, and I started coughing. The kids' toiletries shown in the pictures weren't there; they brought me what's in picture one. I had to show them the picture to finally get a set similar to what was advertised. There was a faint smell of urine near the bed, which I assume was from a child before and hadn't been properly cleaned. The pillows were a bit yellow. Since I was only staying one night, I didn't bother to look more closely at the amenities, which were just so-so. Overall, I paid Sheraton prices but got a Jinjiang Inn experience.

My stay at this hotel was incredibly healing, thanks to the attentive service and excellent environment throughout. Serena, the front desk staff member, truly made my experience exceptional with her meticulous attention to detail, earning the hotel my highest regard. Upon arrival during peak travel time, I was a bit flustered with large luggage and an elderly person with me. Serena immediately stepped forward to help with our bags, patiently answered all my travel inquiries, and offered tips for local attractions. She was efficient yet gentle during check-in, and thoughtfully offered bottled water to the elderly person to prevent boredom during the wait. After checking in, I realized I had forgotten some essential items. I contacted the front desk just to try my luck, and Serena promptly arranged for a staff member to deliver them to my room. She also kindly reminded me to feel free to ask for anything I needed. Her enthusiastic and patient demeanor, coupled with her constant smile, made me feel incredibly warm. She truly put the guest first; her professional and heartwarming service was deeply moving. Beyond the superb front desk service, all other aspects of the hotel were excellent. The hotel parking lot was spacious and ample, making parking easy and secure, with dedicated staff guiding vehicles – so no worries about parking if you're driving. The lobby was clean and tidy, with elegant and grand decor; the floors and furniture were spotless, and the air was fresh, making for a comfortable and pleasant feeling upon entry. Room hygiene was exceptionally well-maintained; the bedding was neat and soft, there was no dust in the corners, items were neatly arranged, and disinfection gave me peace of mind. The hotel Wi-Fi signal was stable and smooth throughout, with no lag for work, streaming shows, or watching videos, perfectly meeting my internet needs while traveling. Breakfast was an even bigger surprise – a rich and varied selection of dishes, including both Chinese and Western options, fresh fruits, hot dishes, and porridges, all made with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, easily satisfying different tastes. Even more delightful was the hotel's outdoor garden, perfect for a relaxing post-meal stroll to enjoy the fresh air – truly pleasant and therapeutic. From service to environment, from details to the overall experience, this hotel was impeccable. With dedicated staff like Serena and excellent facilities, it's definitely my top choice for accommodation. I'll choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The quality from this big-name brand is really good. It's a bit too big for my taste, quite massive actually, but the service is excellent. There are a few restaurants right across from the main entrance, so there's plenty to eat and drink.

When checking in, the staff were incredibly gentle and not only processed everything quickly and efficiently, but also proactively explained the hotel's breakfast, pool, and gym hours. Upon learning we were traveling with a child, they immediately helped arrange a quiet floor and offered kids' slippers and bathrobes. Whenever we had questions during our stay, the front desk was always patient, thorough, and accommodating, which made us feel so at ease. When we left, they thoughtfully reminded us about the changing weather and helped us plan our return route. Every single detail showed their dedication and respect, truly embodying the quality service of a five-star hotel. Next time I'm in Shenyang, this will definitely be my first choice!

Not only did they proactively upgrade my room and arrange a high-floor room with a great view, but they also thoughtfully provided complimentary welcome fruits and a small gift. Check-out was equally efficient and smooth; they even helped me call a taxi and store my luggage. I felt completely at home the entire time. The hotel's environment is elegant, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bedding is excellent. Combined with such outstanding front desk service, this is definitely a benchmark for five-star hotels in Shenyang. Highly recommended!

This hotel is located in the heart of the new city government district. While it's an older property, the facilities are well-maintained, offering great value for money. It's a shame the buffet dinner is only available on weekends.

This hotel is great, especially if you're visiting the Liaoning Provincial Museum. As a Marriott property, the facilities are excellent, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, which is very convenient.

My stay at this hotel was fantastic, and I highly recommend it. First off, the location is superb – close to the subway, shopping malls, and the airport, making travel, shopping, and transfers incredibly convenient. Secondly, the room facilities are complete and thoughtfully designed. The bedding is soft, comfortable, and cozy, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, with a very practical layout. What really stood out was the attentive and detailed service, from the excellent service provided by Darren at the front desk to the quick response time for room service requests; it truly made me feel valued. The cleanliness was impeccable, with the bed and every corner spotless. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and the local specialties were delicious. Overall, the value for money is exceptional, and I'll definitely be back.

This is my third time staying here. It's very close to the Provincial Museum and convenient for getting to the airport. It's a traditional hotel with large rooms and all the amenities you need. The front desk staff recommended a fantastic restaurant. I'll definitely be back!
